It looks a lot lot better as a bullpup thank for sharing that with us mate and with a decent paint job you'll properly fall in love with it. I'd be very interested to see it dressed up as a sniper, angled reddit and maybe a couple hard mag holders on the side rails. What are the linkages like for the trigger? any way to take out some of the slop to give you a better feel?
Thanks mate, love your idea for the hard mag holders - will have to try and follow up on that. The linkage is made of the same 3d printed material as the body. Making a harder (less prone to flex) linkage would solve some of it, especially if it could form part of the original trigger (rather than pressing against said trigger as it does currently)
You can mitigate some of the problem by reinforcing the lever that runs through the body of the rifle back to the original trigger.. This prevents any flex as you begin to apply load. Sadly however, it's always going to feel a little P90 or AUG in the clunky nature of the trigger pull.
I quite like the look of it and wondering what’s out there as a KC02 replacement chassis (not keen on getting an original Ruger 10/22 and cutting it up). One question would be does it have any problems with Rogueworx upgrades? I’m guessing not as you say in the video that all the internals transfer across. And secondly would it fit with a Tanuki V5 HPA MP5 adapter?
Because the new body encases the mag area, I'd have to say the mag adapter probably won't fit straight away. This is all 3D printed though, and with a little bit of grinding and sanding I'm positive you could make it work. I've seen pictures of these running with M4 mag adapters.
I like the look of the bull pup but feel a nice looking LPVO or something ACOG-ish would look a little more proportional overall or no optic at all, just a laser pointer and and tactical flash light then CQB the hell out of it. I also agree that it needs something else so please keep us updated on this project.
1:42 That's an understatement, it's an uglyass .22. However I did know about the SRU bullpup kit and I always thought it looked really cool, in fact the only cool chassis I've seen for the KC02, reminds me too of the Halo rifle. I did not know that it ruins your trigger though and it might get disqualified from certain games for not having a safety, so yeah. Anyway, thanks for the video, because now I know and the gun went even lower on my wishlist.
Haha, well I'm glad to have been of service - even if only to rule something out for you. Im looking forward to accessorising this and coming up with a final 'look', but I still can't believe that they blocked off the safety in the design process 🤦
The one and only video for the Sru bullpup kit for the kco2 on UA-cam nice one mate !
Waiting on my SRU STTI kit for my M9 Aep atm. Thanks for the vid!
Cool, did you remember to use the promo code Paladin at checkout?
@@pewpewpaladin i bought mine through Evike but if I ever buy direct I will be sure to use it!

Also, consider me extremely jealous.

did you ever find a way to remedy the trigger mush? i'd love to get one if that trigger can be upgraded or modified to feel good.

Do you think novritsch SSQ22 would fit the SRU kit? I thought his are basically the same as KC02 with some branding and is relatively available.
I wouldn't like to bet on it.. The Nov uses different mags etc so in guessing at the very least you'd have some dremmel work to do around that area..

Yeah I'm thinking now perhaps a nice low profile red dot mounted fair forward, then like you suggested a laser pointer etc.. a bit p90-esq.
Looks cool!
It does- but I think we can make it cooler 😎
