@@BC-jk3po then you have to pick up the pits. Any juice released is lost. With the Mason Jar Cherry Pitter the pits drop into the jar as does any juice released. I pit a lot of tart cherries every year and this is my favorite pitter. I handle each cherry less with this method.
Cherries are so good, and where I live, hard to get, but when I do, what a treat! Thank you for demonstrating this.

You can also use a straw and just push it through the cherry.
