This webinar will review the current science on forest carbon sequestration, a nature-based way to provide positive solutions to solving our climate crisis. Participants will better understand New York state forest history and the influence of forestry management and regeneration practices on forest carbon sequestration. Presenters have a programmatic focus on forest carbon dynamics who work as forest science and policy specialists at Cornell University and the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
