Considering Jin always avoided Xiaoyu, him opening up to her shows that he realized that by pushing away those he cares about, it does more harm than good, leading him to finally realize how much they matter to him. It's a real emotinonal character moment for Jin, that by pursuing hatred, he pushed away those who cared about, leading him to finally realize that by letting them in, he actaully heals. It just shows how love does indeed defeat hate. That was propably the point of Jin's character, realizing how much hatred can cost you, but by letting the people you love help you, you discover something important.
the character development of jin in this game is crazy bro, before he act like he doesnt recognize xiaoyu, but in these game even in the ending we see that he meet xiaoyu at the end of the game xD.
@@DZonAv Yeah, it really comes to show that despite Jin's actions being ireedamble, it led him to realize how much the people around him really care about him as well as his actions negatively effected them, basically turning into his father and grandfather, not only that becoming worse than both of them. I think the point of Jin's story is him realizng that he ended up repeating the same mistakes as Heihachi and Kazuya. The fact Xiaoyu stood by his side through it all despite all this. If anything it caused Jin to appericate her kindness as well her fiendship to the point he realized how much of a fool he was, so he decided no longer to push her away and warmly accept her willingness to help. While his attemtps at true redeemption are impossible due to the gravity of his actions, he still found a way by at least trying to make it right for himself and those close to him. If Jin and Xiaoyu's future will be a romantic one, having children would the best way at truly redeeming himself by being a good father, but instead of repeating the mistakes of his grandfather, father and himself, he'll likely raise them right and make them the kind of indviduals he, Kazuya and Heichahi failed to do. Jin is in a tight spot and even I questioned if he deserved to be redeemed, but seeing him finally and truly reflecting on his actions was truly amazing to point seeing want to carry on in spite of this showed character moments, paritculary with Xiaoyu and that not all hope is lost for him and by letting go of his hateful crusdade against the Mishimas, it really shows he how much he realizes how much it ruined the lives of everyone around him rather himself alone and so by forgiving his Mishima, even the Devil Gene, it perfectly shows that realization, even sparing Kazuya rather killing him. It helped me regain a lot of respect for the character.
It was an amazing display of character growth. I don't think there's an 'oh, all this will go away' kind of thing for his actions, but rather living his life, and accepting all that he's done and atoning for it by actually doing good was a great step in the right direction. At one point he questions if he deserves the right to live, and I believe Jun telling him that it's ok to live for yourself, and for those you love just helped in his growth. He was so focused on isolating himself and becoming the thing he hates that he failed to see that trusting in people who truly cared for him would have saved him so much. He can't rewrite history, but he can atone by paving a better future. They really did show Jin what a life was like on the path he was. The layers of his self hate started to chain him down, and by accepting his 'curse' as a blessing in disguise was he then able to use this to try and right some of the wrongs. The development was so good, I appreciated how much they were willing to dive into all this.

I love that when Jin says he wants to live he thinks of being with Xiaoyu. Being with her is living to him. That’s why we see them together at the end on a road trip - that’s his happiness. @@ameliad8055it’s not in this video (only one of the flashbacks is) but if you play the game during the final fight with Kazuya Jin has several flashbacks. Then there is one where he says “I will no longer deny my existence” and thinks of devil Jin, Jun and says “I…I want to live!” And thinks of Xiaoyu. Then the final scene of him in the game is him going to her and it looks like they are going on a road trip in the US. Now that he’s letting himself live and be happy his choice is to be with her. That’s his “desire” which was a theme for him through the game. Towards the end he asks Jun if he has a right to desire life. Basically, he hasn’t allowed himself happiness because he thinks he doesn’t have a right to it. Claudio and Jun also tell him that denying himself this also hurts those he loves. With Claudio it shows a shot of Xiaoyu. Though this scene got translated wrong in the subtitles lol. He even uses Amare which is usually for romantic love in Italian. (Also the final fight is amazing in general if you know the older games. Goes through all of Jin’s fighting styles through the games - tekken 7, Mishima Ryu from tk3, and then uses his mother’s style, and combines them all in the last phase. And a remix of his theme plays during the tk3 phase. It’s great.)

Some of the translations are a bit off. Of course, an example would be when Xiaoyu said “pointy things”, she said “…even though you turned into a devil, I’m not scared of you.” Another example is during the plane scene after Jin talks about his mother’s death, Xiaoyu said “No way”

It was hardly a Romance, but the Relationship between Jin and Xiaoyu have always been a great and interesting Chemistry since "Tekken 3," it actually takes it's Time for them to slowly progress their Affinity for each other to eventually end together one Day (though albeit, a very long Time for it to Happen), It was at least not as Annoying unlike other Couples in other certain Fighting Games. I wouldn't say this is a romance in a traditional sense, but it certainly gave off all the signs of something that will begin. I like the scene where Jin saved Lars from Kazuya, but I also had an an idea: While Lars is on his way to find Jin and Xiaoyu, the latter faces Kazuya in his True Devil Form, and puts up a really good fight, although she ends up losing. Jin then arrives in his own Devil Form and saves Xiaoyu from Kazuya's fatal attack just as Lars arrives, and carries her to safety. Lars comments that Jin was late, with the latter apologizing for everything that happened, and Lars holds his hand out in friendship. Jin then places Xiaoyu in Lars's arms, and asks him to take her to safety because he didn't want her to get hurt, with Lars agreeing. Xiaoyu, who had been quiet the whole time, takes Jin's hand, and asks him not to die on her, and she would be waiting. Jin places his other hand over hers, and kisses her on the forehead before turning away, declaring that he will finish things once and for all. Lars and Xiaoyu watch him fly into the air as he goes to battle Kazuya. I wonder what that scene would have looked like.

Xiaoyu bringing the bread XDD
16:36 *SHIP IT!!!* 💘
12:14 This is better. She's the person who comes after his mom, and lasts longest.
This game is a giant middle finger to everyone who doesn't like Xiaoyu. And I like it that way.
Well she was main heroine of Tekken blood vengence. And partner to Jin in street fighter x Tekken. Like she has been slept on for a long time even tho the creators knew she was important
@@MrInuhanyou123 The og creaters but harada look like he cooking all. Ik is in story DLC they better have more scenes
@@MrInuhanyou123 how many people actually sleep on her? Her moveset is so awesome...
I love how Xiaoyu mirroring that to Jun Kazama who loves animals, a kind-hearted women, and very loved and cared towards the man they love despite having a devil gene in their body❤
I don’t think Jin will ever brought anybody and tell about his mother to anyone though especially girls. He clearly love xiaoyu but doesn’t really show it too much since he was a ‘cool’ character🤣 the scene where the riding bikes and the last one is precious thing ever!! We all know they have something going on since tekken 3 😂 I’m just waiting for KISS SCENE COME ON FOR GODSAKE !!! I’m waiting!!!
💯 You are not alone, I am with you on that. I was really hoping we would finally get a kiss scene with these two, but the ending in Xiaoyu's story mode don't get me wrong I am happy we got a cute romantic moment between Jin and her. They gave us like a cute "Romeo angel Juliet" type of scene but still I was hoping for a kiss to be in there. But we are still making progress💯. At least this time the moment was real and it wasn't a dream like they back in Tekken 6 (I was hurt and upset when they did that to us smh.)
But lets just hope and pray that whenever they make Tekken 9 Jin and Xiaoyu finally get a cute kiss scene and hopefully a cute HEA. (Fingers crossed.)

Same! It's too precious
same makes me smile and excited I never expected this.
Not many realize just how strong Xiaoyu is, she fought back all those Jacks on her own without stopping, and those are designed to take out entire armies.
And the fact that ALISA was struggling against one meanwhile Xiaoyu can handle a whole army of them ☠️

Jin did say they would fight when the time comes in Blood Vengeance. He was so dead set on destroying the Mishima bloodline. Then, this game's plot happened.
Love how Xiaoyu is one of the few characters in the game to speak a language that isn’t her confirmed country.
Same thing with Law and Lee
@@ShinmegamiPersona law is American, he'sjust got Chinese blood in him. Lee however is chinese, but I'm guessing because he was adopted by Heihachi when he was younger, he just ended up speaking Japanese. It's kind of why I assume Xiaoyu speaks Japanese. She spent a good amount of time in Japan going to school, maybe she just adopted the language. 😅
Lars and Alisa...
Human characters who don't speak their native language:
• Xiaoyu (Chinese) - speaks Japanese
• Lars (Swedish) - speaks Japanese
• Zafina (Egyptian) - speaks English, while Shaheen speaks Arabic
• King (Mexican) - growls and roars
• Dragunov (Russian) - just doesn't speak

i just adore how xiaoyu has such great(cmiiw on the grammar) endurance fighting all those jacks
Xiaoyu ♥️ Jin Kazama
Never thought I'd live to see Jin not wanting to kill himself and getting some action to boot.
they're letting our boy live his life!!!!!!!!!
Never give up hopes, it took Xiaoyu 20+ years to finally romance Jin.
Jin actually loved her from the start, just not obvious
Wang and Jinpachi must be smiling in heaven, both their grandchildren finding each other.
Wang: Too be young agian. It reminds me when you made your best man when you married your wife.
Jinpachi: (Warmly laughs) It was the happiest moment of my life.
Wang: I wonder who their child will be?
Jinpachi: He will be a strong fighter.
Wang: What if it’s a girl.
Jinpachi: Hmm?
Wang and Jinpachi then look at each other, then laugh in joy.
Jin is Jinpachi's great-grandson, not grandson.

Jin❤Xiaoyu and Jin Kazama Tekken 3 Soundtrack is 🔥🔥🔥
I did the same! This made so happy and I'm glad I lived long to see it.
Some of the translations are a bit off. Of course, an example would be when Xiaoyu said “pointy things”, she said “…even though you turned into a devil, I’m not scared of you.”
Another example is during the plane scene after Jin talks about his mother’s death, Xiaoyu said “No way”
That's literally how localization always works
@@MrInuhanyou123 Still, I still prefer a good or accurate translation as I do speak Korean and know Japanese to extent, and I noticed Hwoarang, Claudio, and Victor’s translations are off as well.
Thank you for giving the more accurate translations, I'm glad to know this now :)
Xiaoyu: If we have kids, don't kill them.
Jin: I promise nothing.
They will never have kids, since they will live their own world happily ever after❤
It was hardly a Romance, but the Relationship between Jin and Xiaoyu have always been a great and interesting Chemistry since "Tekken 3," it actually takes it's Time for them to slowly progress their Affinity for each other to eventually end together one Day (though albeit, a very long Time for it to Happen),
It was at least not as Annoying unlike other Couples in other certain Fighting Games.
(cough Andy Bogard and Mai Shiranui in Fatal Fury/KOF cough).
Andy doesn’t want to marry Mai but he clearly slept with her as confirmed by the intro they have
@@ShinmegamiPersona Both Andy and Mai slept but never had Kids, that's why Kazuya and Jun were Chads to concede Jin even though his Birth was an Accident. 😂🤣
Bc reina is now villain for tekken 9
I wouldn't say this is a romance in a traditional sense, but it certainly gave off all the signs of something that will begin. I feel like the romantic nuances are much more obscure in the Tekken series. They're more hinted at then blatantly out there.
I'm curious to see where it goes, if it goes anywhere after that.
IM SO CRYING IN LOVE ❤❤❤😭😭😭

I like the scene where Jin saved Lars from Kazuya, but I also had an an idea:
While Lars is on his way to find Jin and Xiaoyu, the latter faces Kazuya in his True Devil Form, and puts up a really good fight, although she ends up losing.
I like how everyone speak their mother tongue but somehow they understand it 😂😂😂
