The finance panel commenced with much enthusiasm as the IIMAm community geared up to explore the macroeconomic trends and global aspects of finance that impact the business landscape.
We were honored to host our esteemed panelists and our keynote speaker Mr Pankaj Garg, Chief Financial Officer, Sleepwell Group Holding Co, who shared wonderful insights on the captivating theme for the finance panel, “Navigating Global Macroeconomic Trends: Unveiling their Impact on Financial Markets."
Mr Garg emphasized that real profit lies in looking beyond the numbers and leveraging personal input. He encouraged harnessing one's expertise as a valuable asset and finding ways to monetize it without capital investment.
The panel included industry stalwarts like Ms Naina Mehta, Senior director, Financial planning, PepsiCo India Capability Center; Mr Dayesh Angle, Vice President Finance, Birlasoft; Mr Animesh Aggarwal, Vice President Finance, Prodapt; Mr Durgadas Shenoy, Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, Amadeus; and Mr Manan Vaishnav Head of Securities, Societe Generale.
They explored the theme, underscoring the impact of economic shifts on various stakeholders along with risk management strategies and financial decision-making.
