I saw Sade in concert at 17 years old and it was a life changing experience, I am now a part time musician on the side as a result of that night. That's the power of good music.
Sade vocals with that beat gives you chills doesn't it🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 one of my favorites. She can sing til she is 100 years old and probably still have that sensual voice🤣🤣🤣 I would love to meet this lady. It's on my bucket list now😇😇🥰
it's not"one of her (acyually THEIR" cause SADE is a band and I hope you noticed the HUGE talent of those guys around her !?!) best song.. To me this their BEST song without a.doubt, and I would even say this is.THE best love song ever .. pure GENIUS, uncomparable..
@@davidwilson1100 What does "lol" mean here? I have 20 years of experience with rehearsal rooms and studios where musicians come and go. How much luck do you think it takes to put together a real band that hamonises? If you only had a little experience of music life backstage, then you would understand my contribution. Having worked as a backliner and technician on stage for 15 years, I am aware of many things that have to do with music. Even today I still have the smell of the stage in my nose. Greetings from Heidelberg / Germany
@@sebasdebordeaux8347 Have you not realised that you are only talking about yourself? There are millions of people who listen to Sade and everyone has a different opinion of the songs that Sade plays. That her musicians are talented cannot be ignored and that was not the point of my comment. But I'll tell you again, it's a rarity that a band has found each other and harmonised so well over many years. Greetings from Heidelberg / Germany
Harmonise you mean, yes you said she us lucky to have good mucians , lol again SaDE is the band and the female is the lead singer, she writes and hel9s producing the bands music these are not session musicians , lol means laugh out loud ,
The video is actually more of a distraction for me.. I have vivid memories of being 18 and out on my own for the first time looking out my window on a rainy day and listening to this song over and over.. What an awesome time to be so young!
My fav Sade song & the first song I’ve heard of her, I fell in love w her music. The instruments behind it, it’s like a spiritual experience listening to this song for the first time but in general listening to her music
This video is actually part of a 2 or 3 part story . She dropped a few singles from this album (Diamond Life, i believe) and the Videos are tied to each other. The word , TEMOR, she writes on the window is sprinkled in those videos.
This album is "Promise", Diamond life was their first.. You noticed well about the link between the vids, and the word "temor" which means fear in Spanish, and which was the title of another "utterly beautyful one on the album..I guess you know it.. heve a good day and more..!
Love the contrast in this video. Soft song, soft lyrics, this harsh man. And the ending ”Tremor”. Wow, genius! Such a stunning song, manusscript! And Sade: Queen!! ❤
I like what you say about her voice.. she was from another world.. I would add it's SO good to read all those comments of young people here about her ( in any case it seems to me you're almost all young..) it's really comforting !!! because to tell the truth, I often feel that your generation has no sense of what's beautiful in.music, regarding what's done.today (there are a few good things however..) but I mean also by the amount of production you see, when there's too.much it's difficult to define.what's worth it.. But most of all I tjink about the emotion that the song pull us into..
Sade is the best band on the planet and this is one of my favorite all-time songs. I'm a bass player and Paul Spencer Denman (here) is one of my heroes.
Oh how I understand you if you play bass.. His sound is absolutely AWESOME and wonderful !! specially on this one.. I think the few notes he does on the first jazzy bridge are the purest and most emotive ones I.know for bass .. Unparalleled ! Stuart Mattheman is also a genius on sax!!!isn't he??
Proud that younger people are slowy recoginizing that older people grew up with a very different aesthetic. Our life had exceptional quality and uniqueness in human culture and politics. I am 60+ years old. We generations "created original" forms of music, fashion and thought. Sadly, we don't mean to be so critical of younger people. It's just that we have not seen you create anything original.
Traveling with Vanessa, you're right.but I would say that concerning music, we can't blame those young generations.. when SUCH music have been created before, how can you do better?? it's just impossible..!
Okay, so listen, there is a LIVE performance of Sade singing this song 🎵"Is it a Crime"🎶 . It's Sade LIVE in San Diego (circa 2009). Also LIVE in San Diego, 🎶"Nothing Can Come Between Us"🎵
Saw her Live in the 90's. No way to describe it. Have you seen her LIVE videos? WHOOO... you need to! ALL OF THEM. Also... I hope you're reading this... check out her band "Sweetback". YOU WILL LOVE THEM.
A bit late to the party but this song at "Live Aid 1985" is an awesome live rendition of the tune by her would definitely recommend checking it out (if you haven't already lol)
This "It's is a crime" video is the second part of a story that starts with the video "The sweetest taboo" (ua-cam.com/video/kcPc18SG6uA/v-deo.html). This was already the "Spanish" era of Sade, with some references to the Spanish culture in the room where she sings with the musicians, and the word "temor" (fear) handwritten on the window, a word that the man perfectly knows what it means, and that's why he erased it from the window. I sincerely recommend the 1993 Sade Live in San Diego concert to know what a silky voice and full sensuality mean. ua-cam.com/video/U-SHfpm5Bxk/v-deo.htmlsi=JR1_2B0TTPk3ASvJ
Lemme tell ya a story, back in the 90s I was living, working and partying in Hollywood. It was a hard, fast and sickening life!! Too much debauchery to mention on youtube. But.. whenever I needed to make the screaming in my head go away I'd put on some Sade. I think only an actual real life angel could have a better voice. And maybe Amy Lee. But that's it.
I appreciate you being open to SADE's style but your missing the point of this song... its about the human condition of being in a relationship that isnt good for you. At the end Sade writes the word Temor on the glass.... temor means fear. She loves him but she fears him.
I saw Sade in concert at 17 years old and it was a life changing experience, I am now a part time musician on the side as a result of that night. That's the power of good music.
Lucky you; sure it was an overwhelming experience.
This is my favorite Sade song! It incorporates jazz and R & B, two of my favorite music genres.
this song and " no ordinary love"....
She is amazing live! The best concert EVER!
Sade vocals with that beat gives you chills doesn't it🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 one of my favorites. She can sing til she is 100 years old and probably still have that sensual voice🤣🤣🤣 I would love to meet this lady. It's on my bucket list now😇😇🥰
Sade was my first female singer crush........and its never changed.
One of the best songs from Sade ! She was lucky to have good musicians and this band harmonized very well. Many greetings from Heidelberg / Germany

Thank you so much for giving this one a listen!! My favorite Sade song, her vocals on this is superb! ❤ Another recommendation is Sade "Maureen".
That's a good song also🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
My favorite too. An absolute perfect song
I love Maureen.
This whole album is fire
The video is actually more of a distraction for me.. I have vivid memories of being 18 and out on my own for the first time looking out my window on a rainy day and listening to this song over and over.. What an awesome time to be so young!
A lot of her first videos were all connected and telling a story. Please check out more of her music. Her voice is phenomenal!!
Although "Sade" is part of her middle name (Helen Folasade Adu), "Sade" is also the name of the whole band.
My 40 year crush. Been rockin with her since 84. Just stumbled on your channel and have been watching for the last few days. Just subbed.
Not only is she beautiful voice he seems like an angel she is my goddess❤ ❤❤❤❤❤
This entire album is totally amazing
Saw her in London when I was a kid & she was just as smooth on stage live 💔
The second best concert I've ever been to was Sade. She was sensational. "Is it A Crime" is her best.
She was also a model and fashion designer and designed some of the stage outfits for the band Spandau Ballet in the '80s.
Thanks for shining a spotlight on this amazing song.
She is so smooth. 👍❤🤙
My fav Sade song & the first song I’ve heard of her, I fell in love w her music. The instruments behind it, it’s like a spiritual experience listening to this song for the first time but in general listening to her music
I’m not even going to suggest watching a live video. This song is an in-person experience that is 😍
Peace and Blessings. This is one of her many classics but she really sang her ass off in this one.

You should react to a live performance of this, because this is great, but her live performance will blow you away!

Fell in love this joint first time I heard it😢😢😢
The whole arrangement of that production was perfect 😀
I truly appreciate you doing this ladybird taking me where I need to be , without her even being there. Thank you.
Insanely fantastic music!
yea shes 1 of 1 , totally out of this world

She is the best, that song is beautiful just like her, by the way MF DOOM sampled that piano at 5:30.
The 80s were awesome

Doesn't have the intellectual capacity to analyze music. So therefore every reaction is EXACTLY the same!!
