This is becoming the new ashville channel and is 1000x better already and you haven’t got a whole crew sat in office editing all day. Fair play to the director 👍
Learnt of you through your job at Ashville, now I must say I prefer your channel. The knowledge that Baz has got is impressive and the fox must be happy that Baz is looking after his machinery as if it was his own. Great work Baz, Luke.and the director 👍
Good to see proper guys who don't bend split pins flat around the pin they go through. Some certain circumstances, it is right to do so but it will be where they are easy to remove - say a wheel bearing retaining nut. The vast majority of times it is only needed to spread the pin. I have never ever seen one fall out. Nice work guys.
Well done lads, not many professions that what ever the weather you go to carry on, no rain, no snow, to hot doesn’t stop play. Good job done guys. Luke, that gas heater is as much use as a box of matches on plant gear, Baz get Luke a proper hot spanner!.. Thanks for sharing guys, great content.
If this isn't real world engineering Baz, nothing is. I'm not sure what I think of that cone design. The work these machines do is unbelievable day in, day out. I'm surprised they don't need an overhaul every month. Love the determination to suceed and positive energy. A great inspiration when some of us think we're having a s**t day because the coffee machine doesn't work. This is now one of the best UA-cam channels out there. Thank you all involved in its production.
i love the get it finished mentality it needs to be working. Time is money and downtime is never good. Kids nowadays just cant be arsed and will down tools as soon as their hours are done.
Before retiring I was a field millwright for 46 yrs. Working on varying equipment in all kinds of conditions. I feel your pain but we keep the country running. Thanks for the vid, from USA.
there is a hydraulic fitting under the conveyor on the very bottom of the cone housing, next time you change a liner break that fitting loose and the cone housing will come off much easier. the hyd line im talking about works a hyd brake for the cone, also there are a couple knobs in a compartment on the control display side, turn those knobs all the way to the minus symbol. will make removal of housing so much easier. ive learned these things the hard way. good work brother!
I literally have no clue what any of this machinary does but im intrigued every time a new video what i do know is what good work looks like and baz's and all the team at welderfabber do and immense job everytime!! Great work knce again baz director snd team!! 👊💪
Following you from Northern California and watching you guys work in the rain and mud is crazy! We get so little rain here that nobody would work like you guys we’d just wait it out for a day or so for the Sun. 🌞😁👍👍 Be well
Another great show Baz and Director, That definitely wasn't a 925 job. Made me wish I had takin a different path in my career. Till the next one, stay safe and well. 🦊
Might have laughed at Luke’s little blow lamp but one of them has pulled me out the muck a few times! Keep it coming baz, can’t wait to see what’s coming next!
Another great vid Baz 👍👍. That luke is a good lad. Not an easy job this one , but you boys got it done. Stay safe out there. Keep seeing you on the road ,but no where to stop and say hi. Keep up the great work director👍👍
High quality channel, been looking for a channel like this for ages. Great to see you all work well together as a team. It shows what a great boss you are that you get stuck in with the boys and the boys respect your knowledge. Keep up the great work.
Putting in another good shift there Baz - in some proper Northern weather - glad to see the yard boys had kept the place well drained for you - wouldn't like to see yer boot cracking through lack of moisture. Nah, I've not seen a conecrusher working so feel a bit hard done by hanging on for it and find you missed it out cos' the repair was done. See if you can show some action in another video. Cheers.
It takes alot of balls to put your work on UA-cam in this industry. Lots of so called experts to shoot you down behind a keyboard. Top team there not afraid to give it a bash and get stuck in. 🤙
Love the videos. Be good to include time clock now and again in the videos, small e.g. 19:30 at bottom corner to show how late these jobs go on for etc. keep up the good work.
Proper Grind that there Baz and Luke!. When that pin sheared I thought what the fuck else can go wrong with it?. True grit and determination got the Job done. Is Luke still loving it?
That was a task. Amazing how much wear there was on it and no surprise that it was difficult to split. And those pins not able to take grease didn't help. A battle well and truly won so well done. I presume there will be a part 2 when you replace the cone? Doffage of cap to and the team Baz from my side of Pendle Hill.
Great video really enjoyed it,l suppose those cylindrical crushers are relatively recent because they are new to you .looking forward to the next one already.Regards. Laurence Russell.
Top show baz and team. Another great video. New nickname for you baz the 'Professional Struggler Too 😁' my pops lived to learn and seems your the same pal. Cant wait for next chapter. And keep the shorts coming too
Another great video Baz, you probaly know this already, when replacing a new cone , when you poor the mazel in around the mantel don't do it when its raining, any water with the mazel will not let it set properley, and the ring and mantel will not hold tight, That crusher would have been making a hell of a noise with that being loose, to wear that much it must have been loose for quite a while,
The Director did well editing the video in a couple of days ( I live local and know the accident was last Thursday). Must admit I prefer the Saturday/Sunday releases. Another great production.
Would a bottle jack with a frame welded around it be any use for theys jobs weld the frame to the job press the pin out and knock off after Just a thought
Don't miss the crushers,,found the mantle wedges on an over belt magnet one day, shut plant down immediately lucky to avoid the damage you had,was a monthly job changing come/ mantle on granite job full 12 hour day
A long day Baz what a job to get the cone split but you’re perseverance got the thing apart. Stroke of luck there was a spare cone assembly in the shed. Cracking episode until the next one stay safe and crack on lad.
What an absolute pig to get off . Be easy to get a bit stroppy with each other in those conditions ,with a long day thrown in, but there was non of that. Luke's positivity was great to see. Cheers for another great episode Baz and Director. Looking forward to next weekend 💪
Hi Baz and crew, Im watching from the USA. more specifically Marquette Michigan. Way north on the south shore of Lake Superior. The worlds cleanest and largest fresh water lake. I know how it is to work in less than ideal conditions. We get a lot of cold and snow here. On average 300 inches of snow during the winter. I was wondering the difference between the cone and jaw crusher? I am a builder here in Marquette, we build new houses primarily, and work year around despite the weather. I enjoy watching your channel. its neat to see a different aspect of construction and its interesting. I also enjoy repairing anything broken. I found your channel through The Ashville loader bucket rebuild. Keep up the hard work and good attitude! -Ben Snapp Marquette, Michigan USA
Hi Ben The difference between the cone and jaw crusher is. The cone is for quarry’s only and can crush down to much smaller size material. Where as the jaw crushers can go on demolition site and steel can go through the jaw, re bar (small steel). Jaw crushers on crush down to 40 mm cone down to 10mm. 👍
You must love the those what seem straight forward easy jobs that seem to take forever. In my career of a tram lineman it always the easy job that take the longest yo do.
Great video lads, especially with the weather fighting you all the way. Would be interested to know the pros/ cons of a cone crusher compared to a jaw crusher? 👍
Tough job well done, always having to think through problems, shame Blue didn’t design that cone with grease points around the outside & on them spherical bearings, sure would of made removal a lot easier. 👍just seen on test there is grease fittings on outside, next time might pay to grease them prior to removal of the housing.

Yeah he's good
Great video lads, especially with the weather fighting you all the way.

Nice job
I come home from work, only to find myself watching other people working😂
I do the same
Be some collab with allistair cook getting that upper housing welded up, right up his alley that. Just a bit far away lol
Hello, I see that all your jobs are completely different, how you form the prices? Are you telling them the price after or before...
Fantastic video that job certainly was one to try your patience.
Yes it was
You poms are a crack up …let’s find the wettest puddle in the quarry to do this job😂😂😂 all that gravel to make a dryer safer work area..
we like it like that... but seriously when we started that was the dry spot
