- Hey there everyone and welcome to another Halo MCC PC Modding Tutorial! The December 2022 MCC update just dropped, and with it came a big update for the modding scene! In this video, I will be showing you how to install mods from the Steam Workshop and how to play them in MCC!

The day when mods for MCC comes to console seems like it’s becoming less and less of a pipe dream. My God, I hope it becomes reality.
343 should make it possible for mods for xbox in mcc.

consoles arnt made to support mods, games like skyrim and fallout already push consoles to their limits.
@@SpookyFoosh While I appreciate your more cautious attitude, there is evidence that supports the contrary to what you said. The man who lead the MCC team up til last April, Mr Farn, said they would like to bring in mod support but it wasn’t in the cards at that moment. At the very least, they’re thinking about it.

is there a mod toggle for campaign/singleplayer? i know there is an added mod menu for multiuplayer for modded maps, but what if im subscribed to like 3 different campaign mods for one specific halo game. in the workshop is it overwriting the file as soon as u subscribe or is there some type of switching to and from mods and backup of original? do u get what i mean?
can the multiplayer mods be played online somehow or is it just custom games and joining someone's custom game ?

Where is the mod data located? I'd like to edit some values, but can't find the mod folder location for the life of me.

so I tried instaling some mods but whuen i crash some of te mods i install not showing if un subscribing and re subscribing the mods and it appears there not showing what am I doing wrong

When I try to use the steam workshop, it doesn’t show up once clicked subscribe. I’ve done for three mods, yet they never are in the game. It never even says validating before I click on mcc. Seriously wth.
Try unsubbing from the mod then resubbing to it? That’s the only fix I can think of but it could be a different issue
Does anyone know where mods are installed to once you subscribe to them? I've looked all over the folders and cannot find anything.
Most MCC mods are just altered map files with the exact same names as the vanilla ones. You wouldn’t notice the mod is installed just by browsing through the game folder
I finally managed to find it. The location is on the drive you installed MCC, under steamapps, workshop, then the content folder. You'll need to identify the correct folder as their names are just a bunch of numbers.
How about Firefight? How do we load the modded Firefight maps?

I don't think so. They still have to be compatible with the latest version of MCC. It just makes it easier to apply them to the game.
How do you download the sounds on the mythic campaigns
Check out my vids covering that mod. There are separate sound files you have to install from Nexus since Workshop doesn't modify audio files.
Running the game with anti cheat disabled. I subscribed to 2 mods. I don’t see anything when I boot up the game. Will it not run multiple mods at once? I may try it with only one mod applied at a time and see if that makes a difference.
You should be able to subscribe to multiple mods at the same time, you can only play one at a time though. Not sure why they wouldn't be showing for you if you have EAC off.

I tried to install the mods, but they only show up if I play with anti-cheat enabled. Which is an issue cause I’m trying to play it on the steam deck.
They should only show up with EAC disabled. I also don't have a steam deck so I can't test it myself.
Does anyone know how to apply mods to the win store version?
I don’t know much about modding but you might be able to use modb but idk

this won't work through MCC Game Pass right? I have to purchase through Steam? Just making sure so I don't buy twice for no reason lol
I'm not sure to be honest. I'd think Steam Workshop would only work with Steam. I don't have Game Pass MCC or Windows Store MCC.
the campaign mods i have installed are stuck loading; regular campaign loads fine. idk why

They have to have it downloaded too. Then just load it up

Doesnt work for me. I miss the nexus mods, way better to install. I click subscribe and nothing happens except "subscribed" i hate my life
You launching the game with EAC off? After clicking subscribe MCC should say validating meaning the mod is installing. You can also still download and play mods fro Nexus
@@xXBarthXx that just didnt work for 5 minutes, then it worked idk why but yea.. Weird. Cool interface tho, having separated vanilla and modded maps accessible.
