This is the exact technique I have done on my hair for the last year. Some advice/information for other people like me who were furiously researching methods: firstly I'm white with mid-back medium-thick and wavy hair and this is SO non-damaging to your scalp and natural hair. I never experienced tenderness after install/move-up. You can wear your hair in a braid or french-braid even, you can wear it in a ponytail etc. It does not show at all. I can go as long as 3 months before needing a re-install/move-up. OH and this is so easy to do at home - my boyfriend learned the technique at my request to save us money on my high-maintenance hair habits, we bought the tools online, and now I save money and have the beautiful 26" long hair that I've always dreamed of. I don't have any other method to compare too, but I LOVE this method so much and highly recommend it.
I've been in the industry for 30 years and I think this is an innovative way to experience extensions without the inconvenience of corn rowing, bonds or even micro beading. it's a bit more time consuming than I like to invest but if you're trying to save a buck this is a great way to have this experience. great work. Hugs and tugs.
Love this I have fine hair and have tried the sew in method but the beads amd cotton kept coming out and bringing out my own hair, gonna try this method thank you for the video x
that is absolutely brilliant. Ive moved to just micro beads and I find it hard to line them up and its time consuming. I will buy some wefts again an try this.
This is brilliant thank you so much. I did the beaded no sew weft on myself but the beads that came attached keep falling off. I'm going to just use new beads applied like this. Again thank you so much this has saved me!!!
Could you please tell me where you got your micro link beads? The ones I was sent are way too small. 3.5mm inner diameter..just doesn't work even for a smaller amount of hair. Thanks!!!
Thanks for sharing this method! Couple questions…. Does the hair in the gaps between ever come out above the weft? People can be rough with their hair, it seems that could happen. Second, the beads are just left visible, or is there a way to hide them? Thanks so much!
I am terrified of my hair breaking and having bald spots from extensions I haven’t tried this way yet but I’m going to do it today from what I’ve seen and heard it does not damage your hair so I’m excited but a little nervous as well
Some concerns about this method: Removal - with thread/sew method just cut thread and pull. However since hair is actually holding weft, does removing take a lot longer? Since you can't "cut" anything? Tangling - same as above. The hair is what's holding weft & if it tangles around the beads, how do you get it out? Damage - on same note as above. While thread/sew method does seem more involved & takes longer, my gut tells me it's less damaging, and I'll be thankful come time to remove/move up. Anyone have experience doing both, and comparing/contrasting methods?
I’ve had this done once using an easy-weft from Sunnyhair and it was a nightmare. Hair turned out to be yak and wavy once shampooed. Unfortunately, I have the straighten hair one can have and have allergies to animal dander and hair. Specifically ask for pure untreated human hair, but that’s not what I got. What I did get was a painful rash through my head, spots that balled, and an infection across my shoulders and mid back. It took 8 months to clear up, but much longer for my hair to grow back. .After removal I had so much hair that was twisted above the beading from natural shedding, but what I didn’t expect were the spots that all the hair literally broke off from the beads. Was a nightmare. Will never use beads ever again. Hate clip ins because the seem to increase migraines, tap ins were much more gentle, but felt bulky. So I’m kind of at a time where I don’t see a real solution for my thin hair. Tried the Halo, but color is also an issue. Can never seem to find a true dark brown that matches. They all seem to have a red tint or are just a shade too dark. Sucks because I must have $5K in extensions that I can’t use. Does anyone know where I can get 100% human, naturally straight pure dark brown 20”-22” extensions that might just suit my needs? Sorry I’m such a tough cookie, just sucks that I can wear animal hair. I’ve evn tried the expensive sets from a New York Salon that turned out to be wavy when wet.
Why do we have to sew in the hand tied wefts into the hair when we could just use the beads like this video? This would be so much easier and way less time consuming. Any thoughts?

lj0nes13 ... use the clamping tool to unclamp bead then remove bead then with beading tool add another bead .. it’s just like when you get a set the only difference some stylist use the same hair ... for me that didn’t work cuz half the hair broke off
I feel like that's a great idea did u make this up yourself ? looks super easy and with all the hair u ad from the front and back of thevweft and you also pull the extensions through each time too I assume it is pretty strong hold huh? I'm just not super confident I could do this on my own head hahaha you much precision I can hardly glue tracks where I intent to already
actually I’ve done regular microbeads on my hair and yes for the first 3 or 4 nights it’s a bit tight and uncomfortable to sleep in but after that you actually don’t feel them anymore. I wore them for six weeks without any discomfort aside from the first few days
Deanna S you can wash your hair with these kind of extensions in. When combing your hair you have to avoid the scalp so you don’t pull the beads out but aside from that if it’s real human hair you can do anything the same as your real hair
Silicone lined beads-or 'double loop natural hair through bead.' (Take finer sect. Of natural hair, pull thru bead, slide tool up thru bead again (tool goes upwards towards ceiling), take same piece of hair and pull through bead again... You're creating a loop around the bead... Tighten towards parting, clamp bead.)Personally I still think silicone beads are necessary (anytime using beads, since it helps prevent hair breakage especially on damaged or fine hair... Otherwise it has the potential of breaking the hair off@the bead if crimped too tightly/flat)! Hopefully this makes sense 🤷😉

It will allow the weft to move freely too for ponytails, high or low ones, and is also very gentle to scalp and allows to wash and dry without damaging hair as well
I have been doing these for more than 12 years and Never braid, my clients love this technique there is no damage to the hair as long as they are not pulled to tightly
I have fine hair and have tried braided sew in. The braid lasts barely two weeks and it shows shows there is no way I could wear a high pony tail. I only have three tracks and braids are very hard to get used to the first three or four days they are put in.
Hey love I’m a hair extension specialist and I must have to say ItchyNess is a NORMAL con or having extensions.... like when I used to get sew ins extensions my scalp would start it badly itch from the 3rd day to about a week after . I really like this technique. I feel like it will cause minimal damage to hair. I just wonder how long it would last.

This is really brill and easier than placing 8-10 beads and sewing weft in. Very impressed. Upkeep would depend on hair growth!
Thank you
Unbelievable phenomenal job!! Less tension and stress!
This is such a clear video n With no sound Its The Most Informative One ☝️ Thank You
Thank you

How did this work for you? I’m trying it today for the same reasons you mentioned- fine hair probs with sew ins
that is absolutely brilliant. Ive moved to just micro beads and I find it hard to line them up and its time consuming. I will buy some wefts again an try this.
Bonjour C’est la meilleure technique que ne casse pas ses cheveux j’utilise et c’est parfait et mes cheveux sont poussés énormément!

Sasha Hanna I wanna know the same thing!! I want to be able to do it myself too.
wow. i like this tecnic. is easy and not dangerous for the hair.
spent 100£ on getting this done by a professional now it’s lockdown gonna try myself hopefully save some money:)
how did it go?!
Love it!! Great easy way to add length to your hair! Thanks for uploading this
your welcome thank you
I have very fine hair, would this method break off my hair?
wonderful, hilight and length in one technique beautiful

Thank you
do you have to be gentle with the extensions? will the beads slide out easily? and can you wash your hair normal?
yes you can wash your hair normal, the beads will not slip out until they are removed
Could you please tell me where you got your micro link beads? The ones I was sent are way too small. 3.5mm inner diameter..just doesn't work even for a smaller amount of hair. Thanks!!!
What is the length of these extensions? I’m asking because I’ve really long hair and I never know what size to buy.
you can get different lengths to match your hair
This is brilliant 👏
Does this really have good results? No slippage and secure? I'm trying to figure out whether to do sewins w braids or beads ... but I now see this
Thanks for sharing this method! Couple questions…. Does the hair in the gaps between ever come out above the weft? People can be rough with their hair, it seems that could happen.
Second, the beads are just left visible, or is there a way to hide them? Thanks so much!
actually no it stays in place, if theyre not super careful it can tangle as it grows out but if they brush gently it stays down
This method is genius! I am going to try this.
I really love this technique 👍
Me to. I am going to try it out this weekend.
Hello , Thank you for the easy tutorial.whats the price range for this ?
Very smart idea
Is the client able to put their hair up in a high ponytail? Also it seems like the beads would need to be closer together, no?
You can put them closer depending on the hair line
very original and creative, it works.

Just get virgin hair and have a stylist treat it to be pin straight or find a Malibu at home style treatment to make it straight yourself
EXCELLENT! thanks for the video!
You're welcome!
Please make a video showing how to remove the extensions.
what size bead are those? i could never get that much hair into one bead without breaking my loop
Jinetlee Luciano those are the standard sized beads
Jinetlee Luciano exact same can’t get that much hair into the bead
a doll head is different, in real life itd be less hair
Very nice job. Thank You for doing this video.
Do u move the same beads up or use new ones?

I have layered 3 wefts

Jessy Ellis this method is good if you have medium/thick hair. Anything is better than tape ins. And yes you can wear your hair in a pony

Where do you purchase the large beads from
Amazon.com/shop/hairbycaren
@hairbycaren what size bead do you recommend?!
Are those heat or just like vice grips
no heat ,just extension pliers
What about when having to shower, combing your hair, get sweaty, go swimming or dying it???
Deanna S you can wash your hair with these kind of extensions in. When combing your hair you have to avoid the scalp so you don’t pull the beads out but aside from that if it’s real human hair you can do anything the same as your real hair

Laurie yeah! What was the first song?
What happens if she wants to brush it or style it? I think I would feel insecure like it just gonna fall off lol
Mrs Cooks my clients can brush and style it like any other extensions. Just use a soft bristle brush
When it’s done properly it won’t fall out until it’s removed
What is the size of the micro beads ? 3m , 4m or 5m ?
These are 3

and time to do it.
just like dread locks it will take time.
