Looks like I need to keep on the Sketchup and D5 or something else for rendering. We are getting bigger and bigger stuff. I signed one last night that is awesome. SS has so much potential.
For certain never have all of your business in a single box. You just never know. The majority of SS users will not experience epic performance failure like this. They will certianly experince the typical performance issues but usually not on this level until they are advanced. But as you see in this video there was nothing in this fiile other than a house and barely half of the custom shapes detail I usually put in these designs. I was going for under 2 hours total so I didn't go all out on the details. The developer has to do something about the performance issues though. Its getting to the point that I can model the exact same design and house in about the same time as I can in sketchup...that is not a good thing.
