What a professional result, the quality would put a lot of Australian camper manufacturers to shame. Not mention the most comprehensive camper build series I’ve seen on UA-cam. Thanks so much for sharing, and I look forward to seeing you enjoy this awesome camper! Cheers, Scott
This was built with good management and skill . The quality can be seen all the way throughout this build. Great stuff. Really looking forward to hearing how the first trip went. All the best .
Job well done Darryl... It's been fun watching all the episodes to get to this stage. Here in the high desert on the Texas side of the Rio Grande, its very unforgiving, but I think your style camper would best suit my needs, and requirements. So you've given me tons of ideas for my future build.
That's awesome mate. You should be very proud of what you've built. Not just the camper but also the YT channel. Can't wait to see where you go with both!
What a fantastic job you have achieved, really well done! Been watching your video's the past couple of days with great advice and tips, love the rear door modification. I Built a steel frame camper a couple of years ago, love it! I'm about to start another, maybe plywood? Still not sure, better find a trailer first. Thanks Daz, Keep up the great work, Cheers Jas.
Incredible job! The camper looks absolutely awesome. I have watched each episode and I believe this is THE best diy camper build I have seen. I thought you had shore power installed for the AC unit. The video said you did not have shore power access. So I am wonder...how long can you run the AC unit from the battery itself? Just curious about the upcoming summer for you and at night feeling nice and comfortable. 😀
Hello from Scotland Darryl, I’ve been following your trailer build and it looks fantastic. I’ve started building my own and have opted for a similar shape, but with a lighter duty trailer base as I won’t be going off road. A quick question.. what material did you use for the walls and would you use a different material if you were to build again? Thanks mate, Pete
Hey Pete, It's marine ply with a composite aluminium outer, this traditional method gives really good wall strength and is very easy for the home builder to work with. I quite like the tactile finish of the timber inside over plastics that come with the composite panels too. That said, I like the simplicity of the full composite panel builds but you really need cad design and output with those types of materials.
Hey mate, I remember seeing it in one of your videos but I can’t seem to find it again, what was it that you used for the joins in your interior walls? Was some kind of pvc moulding or something? Where can I find some? Thanks!
@@DarrylSheather pretty much bought a no5 after seeing your first few build videos. Now i cant bloody decide what im going to build her into. The build has to be able to handle serious corregations and medium lvl 4wd tracks for me and my small family. The planning and research is doing my head in Darryl lol

Glad to help out!
Nicely done. I have an IKEA mattress at home. Put a memory foam topper and cloth pad on it and it's perfect soft and firm.
Great idea!

Thanks so much Dave, much appreciated!
You should be well chuffed mate, it looks fantastic!

Great job on the camper! I'm just start my build, pick up trail used yesterday.
Hope you enjoy your build as I have.
Great work, puts a lot of the builders here in the US to shame
Many thanks Matt!

I agree.
Thank you guys, I do have shore power, just didn't have a way to use it to charge the battery.
Wow Daryll, that TJ-trailer combi looks awesome. You can truly be proud of yourself. How does this trip work with the covid madness overthere?
Thank you, we're ok to move about as long as its within the state.

@@DarrylSheather Fantastic, thanks Darryl.
Great work ! What’s your profession? Your very handy on the tools .
I'm just a DIY'er in my spare time, work in the graphics industry by day.
Looks pro' Darryl, well done. So is the interior side wall finish an A face marine ply with a clear finish? Looks good and adds warmth.
Correct, use a water based finish so it doesn't yellow too.
@@DarrylSheather Thanks. You did very well to protect it through the build.

No joins in the walls, the roof lining is rebated into the walls.
Great job mate. Do you have a link for the KRS fittings? Cheers

Darryl Sheather ah cool thanks. I wanted to see if they’re any cheaper than the manufacturer but same seller.
🤙
Thanks!
