There had to be simmering resentments already between Modena and Bologna just waiting to ignite, either that or that bucket was like an important holy bucket once owned by a saint or something because no way that just started a war out of the blue 😭
You're so right! After looking into it a little more, it seems that the conflict stemmed from a power struggle between the Holy Roman Empire and the papacy that dragged on for too long, leading to a war in which the winners supposedly took the bucket as a trophy. Very medieval!
I can't believe Americans work more than serfs. That blows my mind. Also... poor Dovilé. This challenge is rough sometimes. Hopefully the second half of the year goes flawlessly
Isn't that so crazy to think about?? Then again, I guess serfs mostly worked with the seasons since they were working on the land, which isn't true for a lot of people in the workforce these days... Although they also had *really* long work hours a lot of the time, especially during the planting season (if my memory is correct).
There was a little who liked Tevtonic Order in Eastern Europe, because knigths was behaving like, you know, a knights. 😅 Plus catholics and orthodox never liked eachother to the point they don't consider eachother christians.
So true! It's really interesting how knights go this kind of perception of being great when... uh... you know, they may not have been so great really... 🙄
You got me scared with that intro man I'm like who is it going to be 😭😬😬😬 Also don't be giving EA ideas with that dream description there lol 😂 I approve of Huxley and Catalina, maybe get them together and throw some flirty interactions in and see how it goes? I wonder if since Alexander had green eyes and also what looks like blue eyes he could be heterochromic? It could just be a thing for us to know kind of like how you made the rule about three or more glasses or hearing aids = vision/hearing impairments. Although iirc heterochromia's a totally neutral just physical trait so it'd really just be for funsies Grim does take a long time to revive Sims sometimes, I think in another LP I saw he took an hour game time to revive the Sim once?? And I think another he didn't at all and a reset had to happen 😭 Totally well functioning and not at all buggy game 😂 Anyway I'm glad Alexander made it!! Mostly this episode was painless, except of course for Dovile's loss.... At least she had Grid and Heidi with her to help her. But I'm afraid for the next one!! All those birthdays man......
... that intro... I had to record the two episodes back to back because the anxiety was eating me alive so, out of the kindness of my heart, thought I'd throw a little preview in for everyone else 😅 That idea about heterochromia is really good! It also could help explain why a pattern I've noticed recently didn't exactly stick... very interesting!!! Oh geez, Grim and his timing. He's like, listen, I've got forever so why don't you? 😞 Well, we do have to play by his rules if he's going to save a sim after all 😄 Ah, the sims 4 bugs. I guess they provide... character...?
@@carrinwhitehurst7397 Thank you! I appreciate that! It definitely is the rollercoaster of luck and emotions that just keep us going back, though, you're totally right; we love it even when it gets us!

Oh no! My third gen heir is named Finnian. He died as a toddler but was brought back when his sister pleaded with Grim.😢
I'm so glad that your Finnian made it!!! It's such a cool name! And the heir as well! Wow, 3rd gen?? You must be at/roundabout the 100 year war (?)
Yep. It started last year. Just hit 1338.

It was so sad!!! 😭 Sometimes this challenge hurts...
