If you people had nothing better to do with your time and resources, at least you could have done something more relevant, like souping up an LC 500 and getting some insane, record-breaking 0-60 mph figures. As an owner of a 2014 Lexus LX570, I’d be more impressed if they took a stock LC200, added the appropriate wheel/tire/brake setup, added performance upgrades to the engine and suspension, left in the 4WD and stock drivetrain/body/interior and then explored its speed capabilities. As it stands now, nothing they did with this skunkworks platform is available to the LC/LX570 customer base, so it means nothing to me.... With the MB G-Wagon and full-sized Range Rover having high performance packages available from the factory, and with even the Cadilac Escalade supposedly coming out soon with the Vette engine equipped speed version, they need to do something to up their game... my 2012 Range Rover Autobiography supercharged model comes with over 510hp (even before installing an ECM module upgrade chip), along with brembo performance brakes and it still has all the 4WD capabilities intact
But the road vehicle can be modified to achieve such performance , that's why in middle east these SUV are unstoppable because they do some minor upgrades.

@Fire Heart - Land Cruisers are everywhere in the desert because they're relatively cheap and capable that doesn't mean a Benz truck isn't G Wagons come in drastically different flavors too nobody is taking a V12 G65 offroading but a G500 Squared has portal axles and is basically a luxury Hummer H1 but they're rare and 200K US or more for the Brabus there's also military G Wagons they're plenty capable and reliable
