Love this, The Craft Beer Channel got me into fancy craft beers and Clawhammer got me into homebrewing. Never thought I'd see the day. Although, I wish Ross was in the vid as a fourth mic.
I go back and re-watch from time to time the cask beer series that Craft Brew did. They make great documentary content. Also, Johnny's beer books are great. The love of beer, cuisine and culture flows through every page.
I fell in love with all 30 plus minutes of this. But I'm not jealous at all! Some (or all) of you are lit and I like the mellow lit aspect of all of you.
Coming from the Craft Beer Channel perspective (and English born and bred myself) it's great that you guys have collaborated so well with Jonny and Brad. Two channels with a common mission to celebrate great beer but with diverse interests in the various aspects of the craft. And you really need to try more of our wonderful cask ale. I was practically raised on it!
There are at least 2 places around Denver Colorado that serve cask ale, and one more I'm pretty certain does it too, there might even be more, so it's certainly possible there's a bit of a resurgence going on Hogshead Brewery Pints Pub Bull & Bush
We do Cask Ale at Airline Brewing Company in Maine. Its a lot of classic English beers with other popular styles. Theres the brewery/tasting room and then the Cask Ale gets served at the Pub in Ellsworth
My dude, I stood in a ton of the same spots you were in only a month before you!! Love this, it got me inspired to finish my own video on English beers! It was cool seeing their reactions to what you brought over!
Now then.... Shandy is traditionally made with Lager!!!!!! Not up North in Nottingham..🤣 On odd occasions maybe, when some southerners come up to visit. 95% of the time made with a bitter beer. Not a good one if we can help it🤣 We would still use cheap lemonade though🤣 Great video though. Thanks for posting. Hope you enjoyed your visit...🍺
Why do Americans have to say London England? Like it is going to be London Greece? Everyone knows where London is! Next you will be saying Paris France or Dallas USA? I went to New York America once. 😂😂😂😂
There are several cities named “London” in the U.S. alone plus more in other countries. But please, go on, continue to tell me how cultured you are… 🤦♂️
Technically you'd say Dallas Texas. There are other cities named Dallas in the US. And it would be New York New York. There are other locations in America called New York as well. In Texas alone there is a Paris and London, and on the Greek angle, we even have an Athens (though not as large as Athens GA). It's funny. You're trying to razz someone for being uneducated, but you're really just showcasing your own ignorance.
Meh, it's because y'all fall in the category of beer snobs is why the channel isn't successful, you gotta bring it down to earth like Popcorn Sutton in Moonshine, just make good beer and many will drink it, they can't resist.
HOP WATER IS THE FUTURE MAN! And so are collabs with you guys.x
This....I like this. What a combo.

Agreed. Ross would be a great addition to this video.
Thanks, appreciated the chance to hear more about how Johnny and Brad got started. Really want to try hop water now too :)
I think my fave so far will be giving these guys a follow great work 🍻

Hogshead Brewery
Pints Pub
Bull & Bush
The way you look at some of their jokes is exactly the look I get when in the us. I love these lost in transition moments. Greetings from Switzerland
Good times in the UK! Great collab!

Cool conversation, great interview. Interesting guys! Just followed their channel!👍👍
As shandy in Bavaria is called "Radler" (cyclist) and if made with dark Lager, makes a dunkles Radler. Much better than with Helles. Cheers
Vegemite is a love/hate thing. Keen to give this hop water a try 🤘
For cask beer in the US, there is a small brewery in Seattle called Machine House that does only cask!
Yorkshire Square Brewery in Los Angeles is 100% cask brewery if you wanna come
Now then.... Shandy is traditionally made with Lager!!!!!!

Nottingham up north!?!? That's practically the Midlands. You're a stones throw from a Brummie 😜
@@jonathang.5092 Yes mate. We are not far off.... Got some great Brummie mates......😍
@@peterwells4424 But you're dead right about shandy!!
I want Brads shirt
Can't imagine someone telling you your beer tastes better than water is a compliment, haha.
It was hop water, not beer.
Guys I live in northern Calif, need to learn how to use my still can I please get some help
Wish I could hit like 100 times.
I hope the CBC guys buy a nice audio recorder and mic before they make Cask #2! Loved Cast#1, but the audio bugged the buggers out of me!
music is too loud guys, drowns out the dialogue .
"Very nice title....?" Really? Safe travels. Slainte.

Kyle is the ultimate American. Has no Idea what happens outside his own state let alone outside of merica.
@@michael1205 So he is a typical insulated and isolated yank. The united states of africa kind? Ameriku the bestest place on the planet! 🤣🤣
Well there's a town named London in ON, Canada so perhaps it's to prevent people from confusing those two 😅😅

What the hell do you mean not successful? It's one of the most successful homebrew channels on UA-cam 🤣
