I have watched a lot of dog reunion/lost pet videos, and this girl didn't seem to be all that thrilled to be back with her family again. She wanted to stay with you, and I don't blame her. You gave her a wonderful little respite while at your beautiful home. Bless you for taking her in and making the effort to find her family. She was very happy with you. You could see it in her eyes in the pictures you took. She must have felt like she had died and gone to heaven. I hope she's happy back home.

Judith Neeley You are right,she had her tail between her legs when the owners came to pick her up.They don't love her as much as the people who found her. I mean after 5 days missing ,I acspected a little more joy from they owners .
Hi Jeff the dogs tail is clearly wagging at meeting the owner 7:05 and stops only when the man who drove the owner up comes into the garden the dog is a timid flighty dog. Everyone shares emotions differently and most older Irish men don't openly show sentimental emotions, I can assure you the owner was happy to be reunited - Sean
She is so cute this little pit mix! So happy she found her people. This gentlemen did a lot to find this puppy's family, what a great man! You are awesome, believe me these people love you for keeping her safe.
What a beautiful ending, there needs to be more people like the couple who found that baby and got her back to her home. Always enjoy these stories like this..

I totally agree. There are comments saying she wasnt happy. But i agree with you. She's an older dog living with an older man she was excited to see him and definitely loved alot
I really hate to say what I'm going to say but her tail was tucked immediately and yes she knew they were coming in her body posture spoke of great sadness I thought she had such a puppy quality when she was with you in the house and that quality was so gone when they put that belt on her the tail is tucked the whole time all the way down to her belly, but obviously they love her..for she looks very healthy.. and let's face it if they didn't love her they wouldn't have came for her. So no disrespect to her owner.. but I think she enjoyed her five days and especially the one with the ones who found her and took time out of their lives to reunite her with you! You're so very blessed to have a beautiful little girl like that in your life enjoy the time you have together. Bless you Jess!

Maybe she ran for a reason. Her tail was not wagging happily while waiting or when she saw her owner. Maybe she sensed she was leaving this nice man. She was very happy with him. I hope she's okay.
I don’t think this dog was happy to see owner. I feel she must have been abused also. I have seen a lot of happy reunions. This was not one. Wish you would recheck on her

You guys are so wonderful!!! I am a massive animal lover and I always feel for owners who have lost their pets. We have 2 cats and I would be heart broken if anything happened to them or if somebody horrible got their hands on them. Last year 2 dogs were stolen from their owners in the town that I live, I just hope and pray that they were not taken for dog fighting. I cannot stand animal cruelty so I am chuffed to bits that Jess was found by yourself and Lyn.....although I think she looked alot happier with you guys!!!!! Well done xxx

Sorry but the dog didn't seem that happy to see the owner....just cuz someone owns a pet does not mean they treat them good. Plus even after the owner got there, the dog kept in that stance looking towards where he'd been before. Probably trying to think of a way out.....to freedom!! Dog to me liked the people who'd found him alot better.
To everyone in the comments that assume this dog wasn’t happy to see her owner... she seems perfectly fine with her owner and her reaction doesn’t seem strange or wrong to me. Every dog is different! I get the same reaction from my dog who now lives with my brother as I moved abroad. I spoil my dog and shower her with love and in return she does the same but it’s always her initial reaction to seeing me again after a long time to be aloof and seem uninterested. After 10 or so minutes she’ll show her excitement and follow me around like a tail waiting for belly rubs, treats and walks.
There should be more people like you in this world. If the owners were not found she would of been a nice addition to your family, she sems to like you.
