Loved her in Sound City! Nice work Mark! You said you all were cooking up some new content and you were right! These new vids are a great start and EXACTLY the kind of thing we want to see coming from Gibson! And I’m wearing my Keith Richards is my Spirit Animal T-shirt! I’ve worn it more than once on mummy channel! Great job!

So smart! All the heritage and importance of Gibson’s earlier years, implied but not stated, and Agnesi getting into history is always convincing. Modern brands can’t make a video like this - and that’s the point. A beautiful lesson in how not to talk about the guitars.

This video was way way way too short. Man, the history there is just unmatched. You guys ought to put together a series & do a full, indepth tour & interview for Capital

Fun Fact: Gwen Stefani shot her "What You Waiting For?" music video inside of Studio A at Capitol Studios. She even played the piano.

If you ever get a chance you need to check out the sound city documentary. It's one of the coolest things to see.

The "Frank" Neumann U48 microphone Paula Salvatore shows in this video is NOT from the 1930's since the Neumann U48 model was not introduced until 1957.

These are awesome (all the videos that have come recently) just sceptical that Gibson won't retain the stamina or the motivation to keep it up. Prove me wrong!

I never been on vacation in my life and my #1 place to visit since i was a kid is capitol records. I don't drive and scared to fly so i'll never get to see l.a. and visit this iconic building. I would of loved to worked in the record industry in the 60's /70's recording and pressing records.. Watching the knack documentary I question alot of management decisions like why they wouldn't let them play on the awards show, etc.. and why lots of famous bands were turned down, that i would of signed if i worked there.. I cant see today how big companies stay alive with crummy contracts and so much competition and how most people rather be self released or on a major indy label... Then radio don't even play the song after you spent 5 million promoting it... And no mtv 24 hour music rotation anymore.. I wish i had the power to change everything back the way it was.. I knew in the late 70s computers would ruin music somehow... I was right.. I discover 5 new bands everyday now it seems and cant buy the 45s so i record songs off of the internet to cassette tapes, cd's rot away and dont last like vinyl anyway.. Be fun to go to a walmart and buy the latest 45s and pay for the music but nope ya cant do that.. The 45s capitol does put out are jukebox only 45s usually with no date on the label now it pisses me off everytime i get one... But whatever the future holds this building will be around long after i'm gone i wish i could of been part of it's history somehow... or atleast got to walk thru every inch of it once in my life and got to sit in on a recording and see how its all done.. Every lp should be reissued on vinyl.. And exact reissues of the obscure 45s...

And according to this month's Pro Sound News, the mastering house are now closed, as well as Ms. Salvatore got laid off. Thanks, but no thanks to the current fools, UMG.
