Born in Kbt in 1944 and flew the nest in 1961. I couldn't have wished for a better place to grow up in and my schooling at the Johnstone Primary and Kirkcudbright Academy sure paid dividends. Travelled the world ever since but nowhere gave me the same feeling of being home again, than my infrequent visits back to see family. Went to school with DC (Duncan) and also met Innes Ireland. It is a small world.

It's very difficult to get music that UA-cam will let you use because of copyright issues, I do enjoy listening to the border pipes and they were the nearest I could get without getting the video blocked in certain countries.
I spent tree summers there.... I used to walk along all roads around Kirkcudbrihgt, thank you for bring back all these memories ;)
