My first intro to Sadao Watanabe from his 1986 album Good Time For Love. Got played around 1987-88 on my favorite smooth jazz station, WXDJ 95.7 "The Wave", in Miami.
@@MBluestrology If you're still interested: Many modern record players (maybe even yours!) have a USB-outlet, such as USB-A or USB-B. You can connect that to your PC, which will treat it as something similar to a microphone. Using free software like Audacity, you can then just let the record run and record it on your PC, and then export it as an MP3 (or a lossless file format like WAV or FLAC). This is also nice for preservation - if you ever lose your vinyls, you will at least still have the MP3. Not quite the same thing but better than nothing at all!
