Let's just all hope their version of "harder content" isn't just adding a million HP to certain mobs. That's not harder, just a time sink.
Well, I mean, what else can they do besides increase enemy health, defense, and damage output? It will have to be a generalized difficulty increase across all world content, which is a hefty amount of content. You can't expect them to redesign enemy and boss mechanics for every zone. I genuinely doubt that it will be anywhere near as difficult as Veteran Dungeons. And like the majority of old World Bosses, the Quest/Story Bosses will simply be damage sponges that still can't kill me. I'm not expecting anything like the expansion World Bosses, the occasional ones that I still need a group for.

@@slish438 Make it so you can't solo it. Make a mechanic that forces you to use cleanse skill every 10s. Make it, so you need to have dps check. Make it so you cannot sustain infinitely. Make it, so you get slower with every second of a fight. Make it so... there is shit load of mechanics that can be put there. Back in Greymoor, you could solo every world boss (the monk form elswyr is exception) with lvl 10 Werewolf. This game is made for 40yo andys with no hands.
Yeah I would prefer mechanics to teach players to block , roll and move is more important
First thing that this game should have : If you are in the party of 4, you get MORE rather than LESS xp per person.

@@projectjtl ikr? There is so many features that SHOULD be in this game, but simply aren't. They are too busy making new 4-armed mounts instead of making good game. It works, unfortunatelly.
That mount is crazy, hopefully we will see more tweeks this year to improve things
3:57 this might actually be a great thing for the imbalance of 99% of players just playing DPS. If they are forced to group up with others, they will see the huge benefits of actually having a tank around. Maybe that dps will actually make a tank spec and they could be that person that everyone asks for help.
That encourages them to join more groups, maybe do guild events, then from there maybe dungeons because not the q for randoms isnt insane. Hen they start liking dungeons, they try more vet dungeons.... Then hard modes... Then trifectas. You see where I am going
Players that interact with other players play the game longer and more often. The fun is not from the game itself, it is from the friends you play with
@@zombiejesus7445 that’s actually quite a good perspective I haven’t really thought of and encouragement to group would definitely be a healthy thing for the playbase, I also found myself group more frequently in craglorn so I see this to be very beneficial
@@projectjtl it will most likely help the tank drought and help decrease the "fake tank" problem in Que's.
My sorc tank can do up to about 25% dps, in a 4pers-content.
Also, one of the brightest hallmarks of ESO has always been the ability to play it almost entirely solo, just as your regular TES RPG.
I like the idea of just being able to replay quests/zone quests on veteran. That way we can go back through the hundreds upon hundreds of hours of content they created on the same character

Overland should be soloable even when it is hard, like veteran solo arenas.
Rewards should be prepotional to timespent.

1:57 I am a low tier DPS player, I know it (I mainly tank and heal). But even I can go around with corpse-buster, throw a blast bones into a group and explode that corpse and a whole pack dies. Even in public dungeons.

@@projectjtl nercos never get any love. I am still waiting for my summons to actually do damage so I can make a pet build
They need some serious buffs they can work but it’s a real struggle
@@projectjtl I am hoping the next IA set for Necros allows 2-3 of the same summons, or make them 2-3x stronger. It would be sweet to be able to summon both the skeleton archer and mage at the same time.

Adding a few already existing mechanics to random mobs and shorten the telegraphed attacks and more impactful, I think It will be enough.
If I can make a unarmed shit build and kill a world boss ... well. that says it all.

I played ESO from Beta. At release, the overland difficulty was way better. Killing the boss of a quest xas challenging and had weight and a meaning to it. Even mobs were more engaging. Fighting - mobs at the same time was not an easy task. Then they made their One Tamriel update, and suddenly, mobs were just annoying NPC that you barely notice. I hope they reverse that since then.
Yeah I played with the veteran ranks and I preferred before one Tamriel as the standardisation leaves no progression, I liked when different zones had different difficulties

Ohh yes :) I remember wanting to grind to vr16, think I got to vr8 before it changed
Crag is mostly group content yes most of it is doable solo but better in a group of 2 or 4. Other that that everything else is soloble

This will not help the mmo. I have no doubt many find the overland to be too easy, I am one of them. However, I also realize it needs to be easy for the casual. The idea of forcing groups in overland wouldn't fly with 99% of players. And most of those claiming they want ir, don't want that system. They think they do, but they don't. Why? Because you will be dependent on others to clear your game in every aspect. This will push away the solo and casual players which is a huge chunk. And if there is a love for doing roles outside of dps why does dps out number the tanks by such a massive margin? The answer is simple, most orefer big numbers over tanking. There isn't enough tanks to go around. Healers are questionable.
Additionally, I hear harder and I fear damage sponges.
I’m all for veteran content, but just not in every zone and also the difficulty should be up but not impossible
Here's an idea for solo players stop being insecure about grouping up your playing an mmo not a single player game it dosent become more simpler then that
That creates time gated content especially during non peak hours or when people are just too busy doing something else.
Yeah encouraging solo players to group is the way forward but on console some areas can be real dead zones off peak times so an option for buffs would be useful

I see it as fun the exploration but I’m not a huge fan of the quests as it’s just a cake walk
Bad idea to make a few crybaby happy we had vet zones no one liked them.
