Jay is missing the point. We are not asking you to agree with everything that we do, we’re asking you to stand ten toes down and rock with us for who we are; not what we can do for your platform. You have one leg in, one leg out. I don't rock with everything that gay people do, but I celebrate who we are; you come off like you tolerate us.

I don’t tolerate anybody ! But I’m starting to understand … I rock with good people and. If
You’re one of them I rock with you… but I do think gay people should be treated with the same respect as anyone else !

Jay, I had to watch your reaction video to piece together the talking points in this video. Your last video was disheartening, especially considering that bringing Big Sexy onto your podcast was a courageous and progressive thing for you to do. To say things like 'What I do is the norm' or 'Gay men are getting too comfortable' is tone-deaf and ignorant, respectfully. I hope you understand that your words have a significant impact. Gay men and straight men, especially if they're black, are not against each other. To invite a gay man on your podcast and then do a reaction video that seems to negate the act of bringing him on can be perceived as disingenuous. I encourage you to stand by your decisions. It's not an easy journey to accept your gay friends; it's not an easy journey for gay men to accept themselves sometimes. I also understand that some of the things you said were in jest, but you have to be mindful of how they may come off. I appreciate your content as a black man, but as a gay man, it is tough to hear you say some of the things you said. I hope you continue to grow as you progress through your career.

Yeah, folks REALLY went in on that video but the truth of the matter is that's what growth looks like in real time. I think the honest expression of Jay's feelings during the interview with Big Sexy was an overall step forward and it presents the opportunity for dialogue about why he was feeling the way he was feeling, in both the problematic and non-problematic aspects. Also, while the sexuality aspect does add another complex layer to the matter, it's possible that not all of Jay's negative feelings were directly connected to 'gay stuff.' For instance, when Jay said he felt mad uncomfortable during the interview when Big Sexy was telling DL men who wanted to get with him to hit him up in his DMs and they didn't have to worry about him telling their business. It's possible that he might would also have a problem with a straight person extending that type of invitation towards married folks, even though he probably wouldn't be quite as repulsed. But my main takeaway was that it's just important to respectfully let people know where your comfort level is when it comes to issues and communities you're still getting familiar with. Doing that in the middle of a live interview makes that kinda difficult and awkward obviously, but in general that goes to the heart of what makes relationships of all sorts grow and progress, namely communication.

    Jay is trying to grow
    I'm an LGBT public figure
For him to be an ally trying to understand and create a social balance is enough to gain my respect. He isn't going to understand everything thoroughly.....BUT AT LEAST HE IS ACKNOWLEDGING LGBT+ ppl as human beings.
All LGBT community individuals....do not jump on him. He is a heterosexual man....u cannot expect him to live our experiences but his arms are open!
Jay is a beautiful human being for thinking DIFFERENT 🖤
Ps....bring me on the show JAY FrFr

@@MrJayHill 80% of Blk men have had same sex interactions FRFR , I'm not sure of the female numbers yet but there is a high effect due to men pushing lesbianism in the bedroom especially with dl females that use the man for financial gain

@@MrJayHill Jay, you are saving lives by Opening conversation. Big sexy is correct with 80 percent of males have had same sex interactions. The Downlow woman and men are the problem is our race! R*PE is real and so is perversion.
I did some interviews on my page (groovy, finesse, Monroe, black, dollar bill are some of the favs) please listen....
I'm not sure about the numbers of Downlow females but with men being tricked into relationships for females to bring women in to turn them out is problematic.
Jay....u are the 20 percent of males willing to do the social work because many are lying preying on gays, straights, and transgender
The bisexual community is out of control.
