      It’s a fisheye lens, that’s how they fake the earth is curved.

      Well, if it wasn't a bit fish eye, the hand-held nature of the shots would make it nauseating to watch because of how the movement would look. :/

    Is your phone screen curved? Things are all rounded and bowed.

    • @NearlyBatman

      It is the camera lense. It is a fish-eye lense.
      It's so the hand-held shots don't look shaky and (especially for people who get motion sick easily) nauseating. 🙂

    I've been "eating" my "elephant" for 4 years!
    Wonder who invented plumbers strapping? That's some handy stuff to have around, for more than just plumbing!
    One more question. I have a can of Great Stuff never been used, but the straw that came with it got destroyed. Where can I get a straw for it? I believe it's bigger than a drinking straw.

    • @EmptyHammock
      @EmptyHammock  2 роки тому +1

      Its very specific. Buy a new can. You can use the new straw for both.

    I wish I had both you and your dads carpenter skills. I plan on sometime on my UA-cam channel building a tiny house outta scrap building material . Once I get a truck / van and trailer. Enough subscribers on my channel to do so. Why I say that since I personally don't have that sort of knowledge. I do use UA-cam as way to learn. Definitely enjoy the video's you and your dad post about this project. Definitely do learn alot.

    One of my retired plumber uncles, when he got used to PEX, eventually adopted your way of home running everyone but he also left a service loop so to speak, but he didn't loop it. Basically an extra foot on every run, so if anyone had to come back and cut into it, they had some room to play with without having to patch PEX to PEX.

    I was filling in your words B 4 U spoke and thought; 'time-consuming'...then U said; 'Death by a 1,000 cuts.' LOL! Yeah the tedious is painful at times. I find ESPECIALLY when U R 'coming to the finish line'. It is as though the line keeps being mysteriously placed further and further back. NICE! I mean the place is 'really' looking NICE! = She 'POPS' all over! Health to y'all...thanks 4 sharing and God Bless! :-)

You both are just meticulous about your finished products. I love being on this journey with you both as it truly is so informative and educational on how to do things the right way.
    Thank you for sharing your expertise and knowledge on the least little things. Finishing touches can make or break a beautiful product.

Love the flooring in bathroom and what you choose for flooring rest of the house. Very scandinavian colors It lightens the house and relaxes the eyes.
