She seldom gets a stage large enough for her talent. Yet she seems to enjoy the close contact with her audiences, as many of her live performance videos, mostly phones, have shown us. She deserves live music, band or orchestra, and professional lighting and recording whenever she wants. Her independence is truly admirable, and, in duet company, she is incomparable. Thanks for staying with her.

From October to December, Diana Ankudinova took part in the show Avatar. This show is similar to the show The Masked Singer, but instead of costumes, the artists are covered in sensors and are in a room behind the stage and control digital avatars. Diana performed in the avatar of the Firebird and WON, no one recognized Diana for 9 episodes. The culmination of the performance was the Firebird's performance to the song by Yma Sumac - Taki Rari, where Diana demonstrated fantastic vocals and record-breaking high notes (dramatic contralto and G#6🤯). Videos in better quality with English subtitles are provided by KWstas Vagias.
I think this is an amazing performance.
It is so superbly theatrical, and, as you say, extraordinarily "charismatic."
Diana did perform the song again subsequently - not so interestingly - but she hasn't performed it recently and I think she would not perform it now.
She has gone in a completely different, and wonderful, direction.

Diana won the Avatar show. It’s like a show mask, only the artists are not in masks but in costumes, with motion sensors and with a video camera in a separate room. On stage there are virtual fairy-tale characters who repeat their movements and facial expressions.Diana sang 10 songs in different voices. The show ran for 9 weeks. The jury did not recognize Diana. They named 12 versions of who could sing like that and didn’t guess. Diana sang all the songs in falsetto, which she adjusted from low to whistle. All performances can be watched on Diana’s channel with comments, translation and filter.There is also a duet with the anniversary work of Dima Bilan (winner of Eurovision 2008) and Bilan’s song “The Impossible is Possible” by Diana in an alien mask at this anniversary, where she again remained unrecognized.🤗

В Кремлевском дворце на 300 лет прокуратуре ,Диана пела "Я Россией тебя зову" ,также проекты НТВ это не мелкие площадки,Диана и НТВ завязаны🎉,а реакции зарубежных коучей и любителей вокала ,это ещё большая площадка ,у многих именитых Российских артистов ,такой площадки нет.Интервиление по указу √57от Путина может пригласить Диану.🎉
Спасибо НТВ они подтягивают Диану , ну а так ск праздников проходит патриотических, и на открытых площадках . И 1 канал не торопится Да выступила один раз , Я вообще поразилась, что после арт шоу Циммера мы увидели ее выступление снятое на чей то мобильный и все . Как то восторгов прессы не было особых, а может и никаких, не живу в РФ но слежу за творчеством Дианы Какая прекрасная песня есть у нее с Брендоном о Рождестве , есть и о новогоднем празднике , разве они не достойны были попасть на голубой огонек? Она уникальная девочка ,у нее особое исполнение она не только исполняет песню, она видит ее , это заставляет нас полностью прочувствовать каждое слово , все проходит через сердце она не только поет ,она проживает ее и мы тоже ,всех благ этой девочке

She's almost 22 years old now, and it seems that at 14 she was not only "cute" in her performance of this song, but she really must have taken this song to heart, as in the last 8 years since this performance, she has, despite some so-called "haters" here and there, been astonishingly successful in her quest of prevailing in Russia's show business' "Man's World" and of charting her own independent career as a singer and independently minded young woman. I hope she'll eventually find the right "big and strong" ("The Man I Love" 🤣) partner who will fit into this scheme of things and will wholeheartedly respect and support her career and independence.
