Here in the UK if you're drunk, leaning on your car with the keys in you're hand, you are nicked for being drunk in charge of a vehicle. Non of this drawn out crap would happen, it's ridiculous!
That's not entirely correct as it depends on the circumstances. In the UK if a charge was brought against this woman of being 'in charge of a vehicle while intoxicated' a defence that she had no intention of driving and had phoned or was just about to phone for a ride home would be successful, so she would not be charged with that offence.

She wasn't. The police were badgering her with circular arguments, and treating her like she committed a crime, when right from the start the police said she was not in trouble. What? ... you think you would be a perfect little cherub if the police, with several units, got in your face with an interrogation over an "ARGUMENT" that was already over? It's not a crime to have argument. .... Even then, we don't know that the lady started the argument ... it very well could've been the staff that started it, and then wrongfully trespassed her.

“Nicked.” I love how I didn’t know what that meant in this context but somehow it’s the perfect word. Gotta love the English language.
Hell yes!! Take no bs
