I know the kid thing isn't something that's happening soon, but just fyi, once the future Lily 2.0 arrives on this side, use the college savings you've saved to immediately deposit into your state-based college savings fund (they are called 529s). It gives you a tax break, and compounds for them over the years. My husband and I both have automatic payments every month that deposit into our two kids' funds. Very smart on both sides for your taxes, and for their futures. 💗

@@LilyBudgets Not a silly question at all! But yes, only once they are born. You attach it to their SSN so that it follows them no matter what. Happy to talk you through it in messages or further down the road! It's a great fund to do once you have kids!

I’m so confused about which markers to use on my trackers. I wish there was a clear cut instruction manual on which marker goes onto which material. Laminate, velum, etc.

Anything glossy laminated, I will now be using a sharpie!! Anything that can be removed with alcohol rather than just water seems to dry quicker.

Expo wet erase! But it seems that markers that erase with alcohol versus just water seem to dry faster, so I’m gonna try that!
