  • This one might look easier than the others, but it's going to haunt my nightmares for a while. The sequence of events for getting the double Glacial Core to go off is extremely tight and requires a double knockdown reset to pull off. If anything is mistimed even slightly, the first Core will explode out of sync or the combo will drop as I try to combo into the second. I had to constantly go back and re-watch old footage of landing it once to refresh my memory on how to even do it.
Onto the technical stuff. This enemy is lightweight, which means a lot of the techniques I talked about using in the first two videos doesn't work right. Marche Waltz as an OTG reset knocks the enemy a lot higher, so it doesn't link into other attacks properly. Splash will also push light enemies outside extremely quickly, so it's much more difficult to use. This is why I throw in Rock Trine during the first combo before using Marche. With this combo, I'm able to prevent the enemy from going airborne. By the time I do the next OTG, my casting speed is high enough for Shimmering Toll to catch the knockup. Pretty easy stuff so far, but the final part is a nightmare.
    It goes:
Knockdown ~ Glacial Core ~ OTG ~ Knockdown ~ Glacial Core ~ OTG
All within the span of around 3 seconds.
The reason I needed to use this enemy, was so that the Glacial Core actually goes over it while downed. On a larger enemy, the Core would just collide with it instantly and the double core juggle wouldn't work.

That double Glacial Core setup was neat, the first one threw me off because I thought it'd whiff but you got it with its lingering hitbox. You love to see it.

It's gotta be one of my favorite setups of any game.
It's just a shame that it needs to be a small enemy to work since small enemies have light weight, which screws up a lot of combo options for Rowen.
