Hi Gary thanks so much for this. I'm watching in Northern Ireland. My step dad left a Dynax 7xi to me, with expansion cards! Much later I got a 7000AF. Close-ish to that is my Konica Autoreflex TC. I _too_ have too many cameras!
@@garyfriedman2005 I just today discovered why the meter on my Nikkormat FT3 wasn't working. You have to move the film advance lever to 20° to activate it!
That was awesome Gary! My collection is a lot smaller, although I was happy to see that all of mine are in yours too - A100, A700, A77ii, A99ii. Love them, and thank you for your continued great work!!
I would love to see something on that a900 or a850. How was it for the minolta users to migrate to sony. also, make a video for minolta AF lenses, I've noticed you have some. Lovely collection. I would love to own one of those old minolta bodies :)
Sony a900 and a850 are not bad for nostalgic Minolta users without video shooting needs. If you do need to shoot video, consider using a99m2 or some mirrorless alpha camera with a lens adapter. Gary's video on lens adapters can be quite helpful.
Gary... I love how your passion for Minolta cameras carried over to the magnificent Sony line. Our shelves are not so dissimilar.
I don't see how anybody can have too many cameras. ; )
@@garyfriedman2005 Nice collection Gary!
My wife can...
Hi, Mr Friedman, greeting from China, you have taught me a lot, I just want to say thank you! stay safe!
I am feeling GASsy after watching this video.

Great tour! I'm impressed you can hold your arm extended for that length of time! I'm 77 and find it hard to get my cameras up to eye level anymore.
These videos are the best! I love seeing your gear and when you explain the clever engineering behind it. Hope to see more like these! 👍🏼
Thanks a lot. Enjoy you talking about Minolta cameras, their history, and numerous innovation.
Glad you like them!

Minolta, so much ahead of their time....
Wot! No cine cameas? I've got a few!
And I'm waiting to see your youtube video! :-)
Do you see Sony releasing an update to the A99ii?
Very cool, Gary !👍📸
c r a z y, but cool ;-)
No Maxxum 7xi; too bad, I'd like to see the Gary Friedman views on it. I guess it didn't make the cut.
I wasn't the target demographic of the xi series of cameras.
Thanks for the tour!
You bet!
Wow, that's a lot of cameras!
I know!!! :-)
