All I seem to find is unboxing and how to fit together, videos... Does no one have any advice on how to actually get them working... I'm getting..... Nothing... From my IP phone. There must be a sequence of things I have to do to "deploy" the equipment after connecting it all?
The B is just the base station. They are sold separately. you can install a second base, and the phones can connect to multiple bases (not at the same time). The P includes the first handset which is paired to the included base by default.
I have an issue, i login using admin/admin i cant change any settings and then i automatically get logged out. I admin/admin then doesnt work and i have to factory reset and its a rinse repeat issue.
If your unit is connected to a provisioning system with a provider you have to ask them to remove it or their settings will lock you out. You could also firewall the device from connecting to their systems. That's a little beyond the scope of our video though
Hi Andy - sorry if that wasn't what you were looking for... We have our own provisioning system. People seem to find videos easier to follow than the paper "quick start" for the phone. The provisioning of phones on our network is handled by simply connecting the phone to the network - the programming is done based on the device mac address as soon as a connection is detected. For your own system your process will be different - some phone system products offer advice on configuration - but if you are configuring a phone "from scratch" you will likely want to refer to the product's administration guide. Each phone model typically has one - there are a lot of settings which can be tailored by the phone system provider (or yourself) to ensure a uniform operation across your various models. Cheers.
Very helpful 👍
Do you know how to set up the voice mail?
