In the ongoing Lok Sabha polls, the election commission has been under fire on multiple fronts - from failing to curb hate speech to not putting out absolute numbers for voter turnout and delay even in the release of voter turnout percentage. Now, journalist associations are also questioning why the poll monitoring body is not holding press conferences after each phase of voting.
The News Minute’s Pooja Prasanna speaks to transparency activist Anjali Bharadwaj on the discrepancy in the initial and final voter turnout percentages and the questions being raised over the authenticity of the data.

I have been time and again mentioning this on social media channels please cover important topics in Hindi , this is historical election in India and very critical, Hindi ke darshak ke views 10 times honge , English wale viewers ko zada farak nahi padta in sab se .

Percentage can not be calculated without two absolute no.
It's suspectable beyond doubt that EC is not fair. Why can't they provide the actual numbers for the voters turnout when they are providing the percentages, which are calculated on the basis of actual numbers. EC officials! Please don't take the pain of calculations, provide the citizens the raw data.

Ask SC to make EC reduce votes cast for party which unilaterally appointed the commissioners by the numbers votes were increased. That should be the assumption for increasing the voting numbers and percentages. Nothing less than this would be acceptable.

Election Commission of India is now manned by retired officers from Indian Aloo Service , till yesterday they were " yesmen" of their political masters/ ministers while in service ; and are now disgrace on Indian Administrative Service.
This kind of discourse on You Tube in air-conditioned rooms does not move things on the ground. It is time to launch Gandhiji's Satyagraha by hitting streets while carrying healthy cartoon banners of
CEI and two ECs , all over India and near their residences. Kisaan Andolan is a shining example.
Yesterday, the High Court at Kolkatta has pulled up the Election Commission for unnecessarily sitting over complaints against the BJP and directed it not to issue hateful advertisements against TMC and also declared its " advisories " illusory " and impactless. By the time matter reaches Supreme Court or High Courts and is decided by them,damage is done due to judicial tardiness.
ECI OF INDIA IS working as a agent of BJP. THIS matter SHOULD SEE ACTION ABOUT BY SUPREME COURT Keep justice by Chandrachur.
