I collect WW2 memorabilia, one fighting knife I had back in the 1970,s I remember it had blood spots all over and every time I picked it up I had a depressing feeling I remember feeling sad and fear at the same time very hard to explain, over the years I moved a few times and I don't know what happened to it but now when I buy a WW2 knife I always make sure it was used for parades or just to show off but I stay away from the knives used in combat, maybe it was just me I don't know but I still remember the feeling every time I touched that particular knife.
