- Indian national who was apprehended by US over attempt to assassinate Gurpatwant Singh Pannun in the US, pleaded not guilty on June 17. The Czech Republic Police released the first visuals of Nikhil Gupta being extradited to the US on June 14 following his arrest in 2023. Nikhil Gupta was detained at Prague airport on June 30, 2023, under extradition orders issued by the US Justice Department.This came at a time when US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan is visiting New Delhi to meet his Indian counterpart Ajit Doval.
