    You are so AMAZING!!! The way you explained the transformation of pmos configuration from nmos is sooooooooo beautiful, you made it so intuitive and easy!

    For bipolar transistors if the current is flowing from a Q1 emitter to Q2 emitter does that still count as a bipolar cascode? In Lec. 1 you clarified how the topology doesn’t work with mos connected source to source. Would love verification.

    In 17:54, why is gm of mosfet is less compared to that of bjt? Though prof has mentioned that it is beyond this course, if someone know... do tell me....😊

    • @gauravkaushal1037
      @gauravkaushal1037 4 роки тому +3

      I guess because gm in bjt follows exponential relation while that in mosfet it follows linear.

    Maybe depict the linear circuit as a two terminal device, then we acually back to the normal conductance concept, that's more understandable, cause transconductance is still conductance whether is trans- or non-trans-.

    with due respect sir..Rout for bjt isn't clear to me... everywhere i see it as r0|| Rc.. in this case Rc is not present...so r0.. and the part where u include r(pi) in the expression is also unclear
