That baby sounds real good at 75/80mph. Not bad for a 5spd. I'm more a 65/70mph rider, that's just where I'm happy. But I was glad to hear the Strat does just fine at you're cruising speeds. Thx.
It's rock steady at even 90-100 MPH. If you're traveling any distance, you won't want to cruise much faster than 65, because gas mileage will plummet to the low 30s and the tank only holds 4.5 gallons.
I know you no longer have this bike, but I’ve watched the video several times because I love these bikes y también soy Cubano. 😂 I own a 2006 Roadliner that I purchased June 2021 with only 5K. Today (August 2022) the bike has 19K. I live in Indianapolis, Indiana. As long as the temperature is above 45° Fahrenheit and it’s not raining, I’m on the bike. 😁 I can’t wait to take a trip to Miami and ride it there, my old home town of 22 years. I see you riding in this video through Country Walk, Doral, la 836, even going by my favorite place for croquettes- Islas Canarias in the Tamiami area and the video gets personal and emotional for me. I have a Honda VTX that I love but this bike, in my opinion, is the absolute best V Twin Cruiser ever produced! Sure wish I bought one back when they came out, you have my respect and envy brother.

Bought my NOS '07 in '09 when I lived in NY. Rode upstate in the Berkshires and Catskills, Now in Texas with 100+ degrees or ice or hail or sleet and ALWAYS selfish crappy drivers. Have not been on the bike since April. Last time I was riding I was pretty bored. Noticed I was doing 110. Again - boring!
I bought a 09 stratoliner new in 2012 and had the extended warranty which I never used . Wonderful bike . I thought I would like cruise control and all the electronic goodies on a HD Streetglide , but found I missed the Strat , so bought it back from my brother , only to sell it and bought a Tri Glide . Still miss that bike . Sold the Tri glide and bought a 1994 Magna 750 V4 and like it but still missing the Strat . I may have to get another one for a stablemate for the Magna . I never had one issue with the Strat in 14000 miles , the torque is really fun and nice sound . The Cobras and tuner is the first wanna do .
Nice ride ! Picked up a Roadliner S that had been sitting for 11 years just over a month ago. It's been a bit of a battle but finally got it running. Changed all the fluids last week and just have to get the cleaning and polishing done. LOL, you can see my first start-up video posted under my name. Really looking forward to getting out on the road with it as I'm new to V-Twin cruisers, but I know these bikes are a beast ! Greetings from the Space Coast.
Great riding budd, lite traffic that day I see, I hate riding in Miami, I go up to Central Florida to ride with friends, everything west past Fort Myers and away from major cities is great for riding in Florida

I just picked up an 07 Roadliner with 9,900 miles on it , it looks like it’s off the showroom floor , and I got it for 4,300 bucks !! Had two 2004 Roadstars , and there is No Comparison in performance or ride quality!!! Now to mod the stock exhaust to get some mean growl coming out the end !!! And bruh yours sounds Really Good and Mean!!!👍👏👏👏❤️
Heat on this beast is not a problem...remember this is a yamaha stratoliner not a harley...this baby runs fresh all the time👌 just need the right oil yamalube
finally picked up mine this morning, at first it looked like a stratoliner, decided to check closer, turns out to be a roadliner, not sure if roadliner or roadliner s , don't care, eighter way the ride home from the dealer was very cool in all senses as the temperature was around 10deg celcius(50F) LOL
Anyone ever done an “Ivan’s” ECU flash on their strat? They have one for this bike. I have an 06 strat and I’m curious how that could affect the characteristics of the bike. I love my strat as is by the way but I can imagine some of its strengths brought forward.

Stratoliner doesn't even start moving until you get to 80 mile an hour trust me I. Have an 06 Stratoliner with 49k on it God forbid but had a another gear great video make some more John Graham Cincinnati Ohio
The Roadliner is just a stripped down Stratoliner. Stratoliner come s with the leather bags and windshield. Stratoliner Deluxe comes the hard bags and a Fairng

So I bought a brand new 2022 BMW R18 TRANSCONTINENTAL at bmw of Miami off the palmetto on 36. I go to bike bar cafe 27 on route 27 on sundays . You should go. There is only one bike like yours in black

I believe these are the best cruisers . I have one. 2006 Stratoliner with 52,000 miles. Two 2009’s . 13000 and 7000. I love the Stratoliners

I bought the first Stratoliner S delivered to my dealer in '06, I now have 55,000 miles on it. I've never regretted buying this bike!

Question, are you running a 65-tooth Harley rear sprocket?? Otherwise, I don't see how your shifting from 4th to 5th at 75mph

That's its sweet spot. Even in 4 at 75-80 it is only spinning 3500-4000
