@@NARKYCZ yeah, the thing is lowerinng the cost did not in meaningful way adress the issue with the card: it's slow and awkward to play. The whole combo still costs nine mana, it still get ruined by weapon removal and it may take multiple turns to assemble impactful sandwich. It was a meme and will stay a meme. I do not know why they even bothered to change the cost.
@@sathrielsatanson Annoying as well since it is the Warrior legendary. Like its not Duskfallen Avian level of useless but man it sure feels bad in turns of power level at this time in Hearthstone. Could you imagine like Druid getting something like this instead right now. Actually somehow it would be properly balanced for Druid right now.
I think Rye Cleaver would be helped out a ton if the way it worked is it forced the two bread halves to the left and right ends of the hand by default rather than spawning it form when you played it.
It's sad how bad Ryecleaver is as a card.
