So there is a really funny version of this song live where Maynard throws a fan into a rear naked choke ( he’s a BJJ black belt) when the fan comes on stage and gets to close to Maynard’s personal space…. And he keeps singing the whole time and dosnt miss a note lol

The live version of this off Salival is EPIC (at least for me) I love both versions but they extend it to 14 mins
Jimmy and Pushit are both about child archetypes. Jimmy is more of trying to figure out how the inner child got hurt, hopeful it can heal. Pushit is some much darker. It's pretty much about trying to survive the self abuse from the wounded inner child.
Always among my top Tool songs (which also means my top songs overall because Tool is my undisputed fav)
Tool ❤shoes are typically 2, 2.5 hours long with An intermission about 12 min long. You get your moneys worth i assure you 🤘🏼🌀
Their concerts are great! Long song list with an intermission and opening band. Id say about 2 and a half hours ish long.
Yo Dustin! Yeah, Pushit gets into it. Deserves multiple relistens. Like others, I go with the toxic relationship. In Undertow the theme was about mostly about drugs destroying oneself, in Aenima they've moved on to people killing you... Broadly speaking. The crescendo at the end needs a restraining order. You can hit Cesaro and Ions interludes on your own. Buckle up for Ænema & Third Eye.
I agree with this. I think they are great for the whole album experience. Take some and just listen to the whole thing. Then the interludes break up and frame the flow it a way that is well crafted.

Maynard uses his voice as an equal instrument so it sits in the back of the mix. Obviously it goes forward when he emphasizes or screams.
