What year was this video made? I was born in Marquette and i feel it is sacred ground.i am fortunate to have lived and Experienced Childhood in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan 🌎🌲🌲🚴🎵🎵
Too bad he missed Huron Mt. Club wear my Mom & Dad met. My Dad worked for a family who owns Henry Ford's lodge & visiting the private club as a child is a outstanding memory 🌎🌲🌲🚴🎵🎵
Right down the road from Lakenland is a strip of really cool cottages called Rock River Cottages. You should check them out next time your near the area.
+Terry Churchill Cool! It's really nice up here! The winters are a bit harsh, but I'm assuming they are in upstate New York too! If you can deal with harsh winters, you're going to love your life here! :)
I grew up in the UP. and have also lived in (Westchester county)& traveled in upstate New York. The upper peninsula is not as picturesque as New York Adirondack mtns Hudson River ,etc.but Lake Superior is the defining landmark that will win you over 🌎🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🚴🎵🎵🎵🎵
Infinite Sky..Well it's the 24th of April and I still have snow in my yard..But for the most part the summer are mid 70s ,sometime a few 80s and 90s , and at night low 60s./50s.. The humidity isn't to bad..
+JN .LaFata The wife an I are planning on moving to the U.P. from upstate N.Y. within the next year or so. I was wondering how laid back it is up there? We would like to make a trip there an visit first to check things out. Our minds are already made up thats where we are moving we're just trying to figure what part to move to.
Terry Churchill...The U.P. is a lot like any other place..and ya I would say it's nicely easy going...I live in what is know as the E U P ( eastern upper peninsula) in the very small town of Rudyard, I can't remember the last time I locked my house..or car..But In the Soo (Sault Ste Marie) biggest town in the EUP I lock my car nice town ,but why take a chance,,, where I live is mostly flat land, Lake Michigan ,lake superior, Lake Huron all about 20/ 30 min away..We do A LOT of road trips ,hiking, photography, biking, Kayaking around the U.P....So I could go on and on...But if you really want to know more about the other parts of the U.P and they can be very different from one end to the other..I would be more the happy to tell you anything...if it's easy, friend me on my facebook at either Joe Nan LaFata or Joe LaFata Photography..
I'm from Negaunee MI. If you ever are back you should check out Hogsback Mtn just across from Sugar loaf it's much higher and not just a walk. no stairs.
Visited Marquette a while back some nice people but city corruption, dirty cops and big box stores are ruining the county and city. The lake view has been ruined by ugly hotels and the character of the city is collapsing.

I played a "gig" with a local band at Lakenland once. I was lead guitar haha
What was that like?
Asking me? Or Joshua? Lol if you're asking me; it was awesome. First time playing guitar live for a group of people.
