      After watching what he said...I'll add: pivoting on the balls of your feet when throwing hook elbows or upper cut/diagonals...for throwing knees keep toes pointed at the opponent(straightening your foot tenses the leg and you could cramp trying to feint knee into teep or "pushkick") but definitely watch this man work 💪🏾, also study knife hand strikes to the neck( chop neck, *quickly* rest your chopping hand on their shoulder/side of neck, then pull their upper body to one side and knee)

      @EffectiveMartialArts  5 років тому +3

      Good question, Dale. I've trained in Wing Chun Kung Fu mostly, but in recent years have focused on Boxing, Muay Thai, Wrestling, Judo and BJJ, the disciplines that are the main inspirations for our innovative curriculum, EMA. Hope this helps! - Patrick

    I mean I'm from the very familiar with this knees and elbow tactics but that flying knee thing too much too much all I would have to do is just do a spin around kick right to the stomach and then that spin around elbow thing too much too much unless that person is dazed and messed up yeah I can see that but that's just not worth it in my opinion

  • @armonshamley1140

    Cuz you're not going to get those type of fighters that's some recover faster than others and some are really careful

    Turning your back on the attacker(s) is never an option.

    • @EffectiveMartialArts
      @EffectiveMartialArts  4 роки тому +2

      A true general principle indeed, Thesilverthunder777, but there are exceptions to that rule. If the back exposure is quick enough, well set-up, and used to execute a proper offensive or defensive technique, it can be most useful and even sometimes necessary. Will publish more content on this in the future. Thanks for your comment! - Patrick

    Everything else is all good his fighting using elbows and knees everything else is all good except for the spin around elbow and that flying knee tactic don't think so you have to make sure you have time to do those without getting f***** up in that process and hopefully that person don't recover by time you get to use your flying knee kick or your spinny elbow tactic we spin around and elbow him cuz me by doing that doing that spinning elbow thing I probably would have been knocked out already cuz you're wasting your time spinning and then elbowing the spinning car is a waste of time that'll get you f***** up the flying knee thing also will get you f***** upbecause why you spending most of your time flying you could have been doing other things say if a person would have used a flying knee at me yeah I got f***** up from a few knees and elbows but if that person recover quickly he got to do is do a spin kick or just one little kick straight up into your stomach why your Force flying towards him and his kick flying towards you but if he lands that kick on you first all you're screwed because of your Force flying towards him in the air plus his kick that's like if a person that's running towards me with full force and I kick him his Force plus my force would do much damage on him than anything it's basically what I'm explaining so that flying kick and plus a straight kick I'm not seeing that flying kick happening that's spinning elbow thing no no you're doing too much by spinning wasting time you're doing too much by flying with your knee and wasting time but that person that other person could use that Force against you that strong force because when you're needing the airline fat or believe me you're coming with Force but all he got to do is do a kick and if that kick is right your Force plus coming to him you're just making your landing more harder and it's going to hurt you more and it's going to hurt him like I said it's like kicking a person or doing a straight kick to a person that's running at you plus his Force running towards you but your kick hits him he's going to run into your kick harder because he's running towards you that's just like flying with that knee but if you can land your flying knee kick off and much love to you but flying in the air and spinning waste of time
