Yuri, the Progress is still my #1 razor even with several high end razors. I love being able to dial in to my needs and how smooth it shaves. Glad you enjoyed it too. Great shave as usual.
The Merkur 34c was my First safety razor and I still use it from time to time and it still gives a fantastic shave especially paired with a Feather Blade which is a legendary combo. One of those razors where you don't really feel anything when performing the art. very durable and one of those razors where you don't have to clean it every time you use it. Merkur makes solid products especially razors

The Merkur is easier to use, but I prefer the nureling of the Mühle. But I would go for better than does two choices, you have a better one at the around the same price and none of the flaws of the other two, I'm talking of the Giesen and Forsthoff Timor Gentle razor. Progress is my go 2 razor setting 2.5 is best to have safe shave in a hurry to avoid cuts ..i do get cuts if not careful enough at 3 setting
