- Victoria 3 USA - one of the actuaklly fleshed out and unique nations. Having said that, we also have the potential for a hidden Victoria 3 Formable nation - the United Sovreign archduchy.\ This is what happens when you become a monarchy as the United States in Victoria 3. The USA Victoria 3 monarchy is a thing of pure chaos, with a qorld conquest not beyond your reach owing to the vast resources at your disposal.

Please continue your native American game in Victoria 3. This is a demand.
Fun fact: The first use of World War I style trench warfare was at the siege of Petersburg, Virginia in 1865 at the very end of the US civil war
Archduchy keeps the USA naming scheme, if that wasn't clear.
hottest political take is that laith is underrated and i enjoy the tangents just as much as the gameplay. this isn't shilling i'm just new to the paradox youtube scene and surprised that laith doesn't have a larger audience
About the Puppeted Brazil's flag, it was a real thing. When the Empire was abolished, a Republic took place and, since it was inspired by the USA (the only model of a big republic up until that point in history), they called themselves the United States of Brazil and adopted the same flag as the USA's, but with green and yellow (former Empire's colours) instead of white, red and blue.
My hottest political take is that Laith should declare himself Archduke of America.
Political take: America with slavery is better then America without slavery
Hot Take: Norton I was the best American monarch
Every time I play the US, the first thing I do is ban slavery, next enact multiculturalism, and third is become a monarchy. Every game, no matter what.
"I think I'm going to fight the Civil War... on the side of the Confederates". Amazing sound bite.
Here's my theory about how the United Soveirgn Archduchy is an empire.
Laith managed to recruit Robert E. Lee, Thomas 'Stonewall' Jackson, and James Longstreet.

It's kind of funny that Ohio became the industrial epicenters in Laith's game; They used to have a ton of factory towns and made the most rubber, steel, and a bunch of other materials in The U.S.A, but that came a bit after the 18 hundos.
For Trench Infantry being so early, it's probably because the Civil War was when trenches really started appearing. It was probably a really good thing it ended when it did because the war probably would of gotten a lot worse if it kept going from the expanded use of the trenches.
Laith trying to switch from the awkward topic to innovation before miserably failing because of the -5 from book burnings was hilarious
Tbh I agree that avoiding the civil war in america is way too easy in Vic3. Like pretty much the entire half century leading up to the war was building up tension over the Slavery debate, and by the time it came to a head the South revolted not because slavery was outlawed, but because even the idea of slavery getting outlawed was too much for them. You really shouldn't be able to sidestep the issue by the time Vic3 begins
if you want gold laith you need to buy alaska off the russians asap before they realise their mistake
Laith being a legit brit guy playing as the USA and creating the UKA, the United Kingdom of America.
funnily enough the strategy you used for fighting Mexico was the real strategy the us used in the mexican american war down to zachary taylor leading the naval invasion
