the most beautiful thing about this considering our day and age is that all the people present are not filming with phones but rather watching and being a part of the experience. No thought or discipline behind the action. Just presence.

Benjamin Givan's 2014 paper “Django’s Tiger”: From Jazz to Jazz Manouche took me here

Likewise! What an in-depth analysis. Not sure I agree about the pause, though - he only appears to pause once a the end, it seems. Still, great playing.

Excellent surtout la fin ou vous vous échangez le solo et l'accompagnement, il n'y a aucune coupure dans le rhytme

thats not what hes saying i think.i think he was saying it just didnt suit his taste.not a bad thing though.some people like that original old school django swing feel.this IMO is awsome.I love the music these two make.but yes ear training is the most effective of way of learning to play :)

you gotta learn intervals both chromatic & diatonic (ear training) before you are even able to understand what these guys are playing. You just don´t understand it.

It's an okay playing, but obviously not everyone's cup of tea. I have respect for their skills, but it got old quick.
