Most comments are (understandably) about the boss, Bireli, but Adrien Moignard is an outstanding guitarist who also deserves praise! As for William Brunard on double bass he does an excellent job too...
Yes this is the first time I have heard him and I am very impressed. He has the "idea flow" like Bireli which makes him enjoyable to listen to. Also has more than just a gypsy jazz vocabulary.
Can you exploitatie that to me ? I am more of a listeners than an analyser! But I do like to know all ins and outs of some music

Forget about the Yngiwe Malmsteens, the Eric Claptons, The Van Halen, Etc... Bireli, and ALL his fellow Manouche/Gypsy guitar players, starting with the progenitor, Django of course, these guys are the REAL guitar hero's, they should have the rock star status they ALL deserve. This is F%%^&*G incredible, I love the sound , lines Adrian gets/plays. Thx for posting.

Why would you compare Clapton, Malmsteen, with Lagrene ??? That's like comparing Christiano Ronaldo and Lewis Hamilton.. They are both sportsmen but they play totally different things.. Apple and oranges..

I'm a jazz/gypsyjazzplayer and I love this registration so much!! I keep wachtching it over and over again. Chuch an inspiration!!!! And I agree with Lorne Cooper in another reaction. These guys are the real guitarhero's and I thank god that I once choose for jazz and not for rock and popmusic. I 'm 63 now and have my own to bands bebop and gypsy and I love it.

Nylon String = Bireli..sensitive Sound..very smooth and cool...Adrien...untypical Gipsy Guitar...Sound= very mid warm..big like....Bassplayer = the Sheppard with virtuose steady Tone of two grown up racing horses...i want to thank you for this beautiful Standard playing....and the brave try to play a second melody over donna lee..hihi

Bireli est immense, même si je préfère sa période "Gipsy Project" avec l'attaque typique poignet droit "décollé" qui donne une énergie sonore et rythmique incomparable .
Maintenant c'est vrai qu'ici ce ne sont pas des guitares manouches à proprement parlé qui sont utilisées ...Merci et encore bravo à vous deux!

Je me demande si le choix des guitares n'est pas volontairement adapté à l'acoustique d'une chapelle.
@@YognRoll effectivement certaine guitares peuvent avoir une acoustique qui sera meilleure dans certains endroits, après il joue des guitares manouche de prestige qui sonne d'enfer, je pense plus à des partenariats.

Pour répondre à la question plus bas. La guitare est une Yamaha ntx1200r. Ce modèle ne se fait plus, il coûtait dans les 1300€. Il est remplacé par la ntx5
NCX je pense... caisse plus profonde et manche légèrement plus large que la NTX...
De la belle musique très bien filmée pour un réveil en douceur, merci messieurs. J'aime vous entendre à la classique.
