- In 1954, Alex North composed the score for the prison film “Unchained.” North was asked to write a song based on the movie, and he asked his friend Hy Zaret to write the lyrics.
The Righteous Brothers performed "Unchained Melody" in 1965
On June 21, 1977, music history was made when the legendary Elvis Presley took the stage at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center in Rapid City, South Dakota, and sang 'Unchained Melody' two months before he died.
I have followed Angelina's amazing musical journey since she won the 2014 season of Norway's Got Talent 🤩, where I voted for her.

Here is my small contribution so that Angelina can be seen by those of you who couldn't make it to her concert.
Her incredible performance tonight 🤩, at the same time as her official release of 'Bad Valentine' today, could be a new step towards her childhood dream of becoming a world star being achieved.
My recording, from a One Plus mobile phone, is not the same as experiencing the wonderful Angelina live from the stage. Let's hope that eventually a professionally produced music film from her concert tonight will be released.

I think she's born with one of the highest empathy levels ever. That's why she felt "The Princess" and the pain of the unfortunate already in such young age. And was able to transcend the complex emotions of deep songs so early.

Unchained Melody (AJ, at the age of 17 performed at the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony December 2023 in Oslo, Norway) I watched as Angelina Jordan stepped onto the stage, her presence commanding attention. The room hushed, anticipation hanging in the air like a delicate thread. She stood there, a young girl with an old soul, ready to weave magic with her voice. NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE can sing this song (my all time favorite song) with the beauty of voice, the feeling, the emotion, and the musical technique that Angelina does (every time)!! For 58 years no one came close to Bobby Hatfield, but starting with her greatly slowed down version at her Portsmouth concert, and every time since then, she has performed this song like no one else ever has, and better than anyone else ever has!
I have said the same. For me this is the new standard for this song. I so want to hear it live--I bet it was melting.

There was a lot to do when I filmed all 21 songs. I just got to the second one as my plane was about to take off and get the last song posted on Sunday. Then I wouldn't get anything done for 13-14 hours without internet on 2 flights.

Why didnt she sing all of her own songs? As far as I can see from the uploaded videos, she didnt sing «Good in goodbyes», «Diamond», «All my fault», «Fire and rain», «7th heaven», «Shield»….. Thats weird, eapecially when she performed so many songs. Thought you’d want to show your own material and fill up with covers…
Angelina performed two songs from her EP (Love Don't Let Me Go - Now I'm The Fool) and also performed Million Miles, Bad Valentine, Princess of Ruins, and two additional unreleased original songs - Thank You and What Am I To You? - that means that she sang 7 original songs at the Glendale concert. Other notable songs - Toby Gad/John Legend's All of Me as a duet with Scott from Pentatonix and two songs with Jimmy Z on harmonica (I'd Rather Be Blind) and Saxophone (Valerie).
