- When one players starts bleeding (for example: after a dive) he is allowed time to stop the bleeding and tend to the wound. Which is okay.
BUT then, if the bleeding re-occurs from the same spot... the player must concede the game. If that happens in the 5th game, he will automatically lose the match - just because of a bandage falling off.

PS. Also, I think it's kind of shameful when a player tries to win the way Meguid did, pointing to the ref that this is the second time. The rule is to protect players from transfering the blood to another person and he just picks up the bandage from the floor to wave it. 😅
Totally agree. What an unsportsmanlike act by Meguid.
to be fair to meguid, he had to stop the rally since a piece of object fell onto the ground. Otherwise what else was he suppose to do if that happens?
@@ngzijian14 that's understandable, but dont start acting like your opponent commited a crime cause you know he will lose the game:) losing the pointy for dropping an object on the floor I totally agree with.
100% agree, it's the most BS rule there is. It should be, at most, a point to the other player, as is when a player drops an object on court during a point. And it's a shame players such as Meguid exist.

Some people will anything to win, other than train hard.
Rules are in place because some idiot took advantage at one stage or another and that is why the rule exists in the first place. Normally when both players are sporting there is no issue.
It's a good rule, because if it dosen't exist, a player like Asal will have a falling bandage at every point...
It's not about falling object (which is a point to opponent) but about about bleeding again (game to opponent)
