Two more songs from Kansas to add to the ever-growing list... "Fight Fire With Fire" (which a number of others have already called out) "Point of Know Return"
The best track out of the Elefante era is "Windows" but it also features the main issue this era had: very little Robbie. The violin makes Kansas, and it continued when Walsh returned in 86 and didn't come back until 94 or so with Ragsdale and the "Freaks Of Nature" album ...
Definitely a departure in Kansas' career. I like it (along with their more usual, progressive stuff like "Carry On, Wayward Son" or "Dust in the Wind"). From around this era, they also have a song called "All I Wanted" and another called "Andi," both of which I think you might enjoy.
This was the John Elefante era. He sang on 2 albums and went on to do some great solo stuff as well as 3 albums with his supergroup Mastedon (not to be confused with Mastodon)
Lead singer Steve Walsh had left the band for a few years and was replaced by John Elefante singing here. Another good song featuring John is "Fight Fire With Fire" Steve returned and recorded with Kansas on the hit "All I Wanted".
John Elefante had a voice on him. His Kansas songs are difficult to sing. Also, Roger Taylor of Queen appears here as a backup vocalist on this track and another called "Crossfire" ... 😊
The elefante era John and Dino a lot of great songs with that combo when left Kansas they formed a great Christian Rock group called Mastedon it's a jungle out there and lofsidio albums both incredible the went on to produce write song for every Christian Rock group out there check those brothers the amount of music they helped make or made is insane because very talented guys
Great reaction. I forgot all about that Kansas song. You might want to check out the amazing acapella group Pentatonix. Pretty sure Pentaholics will help you blow by 100,000 subscribers in no time.

Hi beautiful 😍 loved Kansas since leftoverture album great band
I've heard this "back in the day"! Lol I forgot THIS was Kansas, there's traces of Kansas there...somewhere. Decent, thanks!
It's John Elafante singing. Steve Walsh has left the band. Vinyl Confessions had a different feel to it but actually did well on the charts.

The two chess players represent the game of life and death.....
❤🎶 👏👏👏
The tv series "Supernatural" played "Carry On......" Frequently but the band and progressive rock really don't get much attention anymore.
I believe the robed figures represent life and death.
