It's unreal engine 4 bud. Definitely not 5. The game would look even better if was 5
Noahs suggestion of Smoke using a karambit and silat style knife fighting was honestly such an amazing decision on making smokes style look and feel cool asf

Exactlyy, all those years, smoke was little mundane due to not being in the series all the time or just being on of the ninja but noah really made it came out with the style. ❤️🔥❤️🔥

There are no words that can express how proud and excited I was/am for Noah!!! Like he killed it!! No pun intended!!! I think Kenshi has become a new fan favorite because of Noah.

same here, Noah killed it!
The way that his essence has lifted this character is unique. I don't main or play Kenshi, but on a visual and physical basis, he is his best version ever. Gotta love Noah thanks to his proffesionality, dedication an talent. He definitely earned it.
Kenshi has always been a fan favorite, he's been showing up since Deadly Alliance
There was a time where Noah would just imitate moves from fighting games for gameology and now watching Noah as Kenshi and mocaping Liu Kang and Smoke as well is surreal 😂
The fact that he did those beautiful motions in Kung Lao's intros is amazing.

Gemma not doing Li Mei?
Who did mocap for Li Mei and Nitara? Li Mei has best female move sets

Noah is living a dream as kenshi. He is perfect young kenshi.
But for the Liu Kang's Flying Kicks, I somehow Like it and Boy, Noah's Moves are Crisp and Clean of How I see them

Gameology see this
I love that you can actually see them do their victory poses after they do their fatality, something wasn't in the last two MK games.
Funny, cause I actually really dislike that. MK11 really avoided the awkward "posing with a corpse" at the end of the fight, and I was really disappointed that they brought it back. The super slow-down to freeze-frame in MK11 looked so much better...
@@killercookie6195it was too injustice though
@@killercookie6195true true
@@killercookie6195ehhh I disagree
Them posing with a corpse is very limiting, though. Just about every fatality is constrained to "and now the body needs to be on the ground, for the camera to sit at the same distance for EVERY. SINGLE. CHARACTER. to hit their pose in the back while the corpse itself is front and center". No differing angles or camera movement, no freedom for the character to move in a way that shows their personality off more, etc., unless you deliberately decide to not perform a fatality instead. Only _then_ does the victory screen do the right thing and focus on the winners.
If they can't vary the fatality victory screen that way, an option to remove the kameo would help. I don't want Kameo Sonya saluting at thin air every time.
LETS FREAKING GO!!!!!
Noah as Kenshi Takahasi's the best casted role for a face model and motion capture for MK1, period!!! He should do more big gaming projects in the future.

His story about doing the Bruce Lee inspired flying side kick and saying that he's been doing that since he was 4 reminds me of the Bruce Lee quote "I don't fear a man who practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who practiced one kick 10,000 times." Funny how that went full circle!

Just like Sam Witwer as Starkiller, and voice acting for Darth Maul in Star Wars.
Forever? 😅 that’s a long time haha
I'm not surprised in the slightest hearing there's a bunch of red tape around Sub Zero and Scorpion. Being practically the faces of the franchise, I can understand why NRS wants them to be a certain way but I'm glad to hear Noah got to contribute in some way.
yeah, but what did that redtape do in the end? Visually, smoke and Liu have the most interesting and slick, flowy fighting styles. Sub and Scorp are not bad, but they dont wow so much. so letting Noa run wild and create the whole moveset WAS a better strategy, it yielded great results.
@@TiMonsor I 2nd this notion. Letting Noah have total creative freedom was definitely the smarter play. Smoke was already my favorite of the ninjas, and seeing how Noah put so much smoothness and focus into his movements is truly amazing. Kenshi and Liu Kang, I can't even put into words how impressed I am with those two now. Noah did an amazing job. They should have let him run free with Sub-Zero and Scorpion, but good on Noah for just letting things be and being a team player.
@@TiMonsor Oh don't worry, I've heard people saying they're having a blast playing as Smoke, creative freedom helped him a lot.
Now imagine if they would've let Noah help with Johnny Cage, because he wished to back on his IG.
@@MaxusFox23 funny thing, i m a Johnny main but I dont like him here. The moves, the strings, they seem so awkward, stiff, wooden. The double elbow move is so clowny and goofy, it kills my fight boner. I WISH Noa did him as well. including designing the move set. cause this looks shit compared to the rest of the cast's move animations.
@@TiMonsor Nah I always main him but Johnny feels so much better than MK 11, and most people seem to have him in their top 5 for mk 1 (as a fun character, he's also obviously kinda strong).
Noah did such a fantastic job bringing these characters to life and making them feel really powerful not only to play but to watch and its so much fun to listen him to break them down and how he would change from character to character to make them feel unique 💜
My life is genuinely complete 😭I love how each character has their own unique and intricate style. The time and effort put into this is unfathomable. My inner child is awakened. Thank you Noah! 🎉
Noah seems like a very charismatic person to me and you can see he enjoys what he does. You can see his true passion for the game and for martial arts, how great it is to see that the actors enjoy his work and at the same time the studio does things so well. The game is good, the cinematics, gameplay, it feels fresh, etc. I'm warming up with the MK 11 but in another month I will buy MK1.
Ever since Noah and Gemma recreate all the mk series moves, I thought "wow they're amazing, I hope the NetherRealm studios would see this and recruit them for their next mk game" and my wishes manifested, thank you NetherRealm studios for giving them a chance
8?! 8 characters?! Holy cow. But it's cool in the same time. Really glad that Noah finally got in MK. Now it's time to go in Tekken :D
But it's a little sad that Noah is the only one in this video. We need more Gemma and her puns in pair with Noah.
Tekken would be crazyyyy
Who would he do though? Martial Law? Lol but Martial Law pretty much has his moves already set in stone. I still think Jin is the most fun character to use even if he is not the strongest in this game. I actually feel that Jun, his mom, is the strongest.
What Noah has done for Kenshi’s fame and credit is insane! He’s made him so much more of a detailed and exciting character! 🙌💯💯
How is he more exciting and detail.
@@wee7750 bro I just saw all the jackass replies you’ve put on people’s comments saying nice things and I’ve gotta ask, did your mother not love you? Why tf are you pressing everybody about liking Kenshi? I’m not trying to get Noah to suck my dick or something. And to answer your question, he made him more exciting by adding a personality to him, and he made him more in depth by telling a more heroic side to his backstory and how he became who he is.
It’s a team effort 🥺🫶🏼
It’s surprising to me that even now, Carlos is still just as much involved as Noah is in the making of these moves. Props to both of them 👏🏼
I was waiting for these breakdowns. Noah you're a legend for this.
Fun fact: He also worked on Takeda and upcoming DLC characters!
A little of trivia:
For those who don't know why he make emphasis in Carlos Pesina. He is been working as a martial art instructor and hire as a martial art mocap artist for decades. He also has a HUGE history in MK, since he was the face of Raiden for the old MK1 and MK2. YEAH!! Carlos was the original Raiden back in the arcade game. He also participate for the movements of other characters like the ninjas, and even the character Mocap is inspired on him. On other hand, his brother, Daniel, was the original Johnny Cage in MK1 and MK2 until some troubles when he promote another game under the Johnny Cage costume. But Carlos remain as a hire for coordination of the martial art movements too in a lot of MK games, even to the modern ones (9, X , 11 and the new MK1).
