Excellent performance by the Uruguayans! Not a whit of period practice nonsense and the soloist plays with pomp and panache. No “Dresden China” and no precious HIP over-ornamentation. The slow movement is taken at just the right pace. Beautiful and full of grace - but no Romantical wallowing. Just as Mozart would have done. These Uruguayans are outstanding!
And yet superior to any piano concerto penned by Haydn. K 537 is still a prime cut of WAM. Even the early pastiche concertos sparkle with Mozart’s unique genius. But I get it. Hard to find much to criticize when it comes to Mozart.
This is one of my many favourite Mozart's concertos. Very beautiful!
One of the best-sounding concerto 26 I've ever heard.
one of the most interesting and very nice versions
A great pianist
A great talent, since his earliest years, from Montevideo through the art of music, spreading notes and talent, a pleasure to listen his art
Great pianist, excellent performance, uruguayan talent, bravo Maestro!!

Uruguay nomá
the 'slow' mvt is too fast...
not my favorite - a little forced for Mozart - full of the Viennese classical clichés.
