Man, Aqua was a monumental part of HoloMinecraft back in the early days. Even the Holoserver didn’t want her to go since it kept throwing roadblocks at her towards the end 😭

If what I've heard & read is right the whole creative direction of Hololive was changing and going more towards the music creation aspect of being an idol and it was gonna be loads of extra work and taking her away from streaming and interacting with viewers, which she loves to do.
man, first time I ever saw Minato Aqua was when I stumbled upon a video of an "anime girl blowing up a building in minecraft". Back then my stupid naive self thought Aqua was an AI (as well as Kizuna Ai) lol, so I was like, "wtf this is an anime ai playing minecraft?". BUT, she *cute* so I kept on watching whenever I have free time after work. Then I saw her confronting Sora in the finale of the Hololive Resistance arc, there I learned that she is not alone and that she is a vtuber, not an ai. That's when I also learned Hololive is a group of vtubers that includes Aqua. I was new to the whole vtuber thing back then so Aqua slowly piqued my interest. Mind you, back then I wasn't that deep yet into the rabbit hole, just a very casual viewer/enjoyer. I was very busy with my previous job so I barely had any time to sit down and watch lots of videos and streams after my shift since I'd rather just sleep.. And then the *Neighbor Wars* arc happened. The first time I started watching Aqua religiously. That, is what finally sealed my fate. That's when I finally fell deep into the Hololive hole lol. Then the Kensetsu Wars Arc, the new server, Hololive EN, the merging of servers, the latest new server, and a whole lot more. I witnessed it all. 6 years man. Never thought I'd feel so emotionally connected to an "anime Gamer Maid", yet here I am. I will miss her.
uhhhh you know Kizuna Ai was not an AI either right? the Ai part of her name was just japanese naming, she was voiced by a voice actress (and then some fucky stuff with the company behind Kizuna Ai happened but not really important to this convo.), currently the only AI vtuber that is well known is Neuro-Sama created by Vedal987

I never really got a chance to watch her until this year, when I finally got really into her gameplays and personality. Also, she often streamed at the perfect time when im chilling out, so often she was the one thats there.
Aqua looking back at the minecraft builds during this occasion really pulls at the heart strings. Putting away her items for safe keeping was a goodbye that brought me back to Kaichous.

holo-minecraft was and still is my favorite moment of Hololive, that's also one of the reasons why Aqua is one of my most watched holomem since she was a big part of it. her legendary holo resistance, neighborhood war with Shion, sign war with Nepolabo, aqupeko fighting over moona, akukin kensetsu, her antic of making underground tunnels with secret entry all around the server, and many more.

its always sad when seeing your vtuber oshi putting their minecraft gear in their chest on their special location or sometimes they building their own 'graves' as a memorial minecraft player..as their last day of playing minecraft before they graduate... i've seen this many time with my many oshis that graduated and it always never fails to sheds my tears everytime.. 😢❤️ it probably because they has done alot of things in Minecraft that leave alot of good memories such as build a fancy house/castle, music-tech building, ship and many various stuff. Just like Kaichou, as she put her stuff in a chest and was about to end Stream after Gen4 had their last tour together it started to rain. The whole stream through out it did not rain one minute. But the moment Coco placed her stuff into a chest it started to rain. Towa under her breath even said "What a timing" and then was muted for a bit. She was constantly muting herself anyhow because Coco told her "You aint cryin !!" Akutan doing the same really hammerd it home, there's no stopping her she is already gone. I am going to miss the lil Gamer Maid dearly, because unlike Coco there is no mentioning anywhere thus far if she might continue as Indie or switch Agencys (VSPO).
The Holomems may not play on that server no more but it still hold a lot of built up memories through the years. Back when we got the Holo resistance arc happening, I wasn't Aqua's fan but I still loved the antics of Aqua and Aqukin Ken. This would end up being a bitter sweet memory if I get reminded of this again. But I'm glad to see it happened.
one of the first clips i ever saw of a vtuber was Aqua playing MC, how time flies. I think it was about aqua building something out of wood and being introverted not talking to the people around her.
Dang, I haven't had as much time to watch Hololive as I did some years ago, so getting to see these old landmarks really hits hard. So we end very much like we began, huh. One of the things that really made me fall for vtubers at the start was the Aqua/Shion neighbor antics, one of the earliest long-form translated clips. That felt so different and genuine and now look at where they are and how far they've come. I hate to see her go, but I think she's right; it was a good life.

its always sad when seeing your vtuber oshi putting their minecraft gear in their chest on their special location or sometimes they building their own 'graves' as a memorial minecraft player..as their last day of playing minecraft before they graduate...
i've seen this many time with my many oshis that graduated and it always never fails to sheds my tears everytime.. 😢❤️
it probably because they has done alot of things in Minecraft that leave alot of good memories such as build a fancy house/castle, music-tech building, ship and many various stuff. Well, that at least for me on why it makes me always sad about my oshi on last day playing minecraft..

Obviously been said many times but still so sad. Wish we could have more time I might have not watched her much but the clips I saw of her having fun with other members it still hurts to know she is gone. I know it's what she wanted and we should be happy it's just currently I would perfer to be sad. She gave us alot of happy moments they are special memories but still would like more despite how selfish it sounds. Will miss you Aqua but wish you all the best ❤

Just like Kaichou, as she put her stuff in a chest and was about to end Stream after Gen4 had their last tour together it started to rain. The whole stream through out it did not rain one minute. But the moment Coco placed her stuff into a chest it started to rain.
Towa under her breath even said "What a timing" and then was muted for a bit. She was constantly muting herself anyhow because Coco told her "You aint cryin !!"
Akutan doing the same really hammerd it home, there's no stopping her she is already gone. I am going to miss the lil Gamer Maid dearly, because unlike Coco there is no mentioning anywhere thus far if she might continue as Indie or switch Agencys (VSPO).
The Holomems may not play on that server no more but it still hold a lot of built up memories through the years. Back when we got the Holo resistance arc happening, I wasn't Aqua's fan but I still loved the antics of Aqua and Aqukin Ken. This would end up being a bitter sweet memory if I get reminded of this again. But I'm glad to see it happened.
As long as the server is up, it's a place everyone can go back to every now and then. Like a museum.
one of the first clips i ever saw of a vtuber was Aqua playing MC, how time flies. I think it was about aqua building something out of wood and being introverted not talking to the people around her.

Dang, I haven't had as much time to watch Hololive as I did some years ago, so getting to see these old landmarks really hits hard. So we end very much like we began, huh. One of the things that really made me fall for vtubers at the start was the Aqua/Shion neighbor antics, one of the earliest long-form translated clips. That felt so different and genuine and now look at where they are and how far they've come.
I hate to see her go, but I think she's right; it was a good life.
