not really except from one person in the entire crew i find all the rest to be ass-kissers of old nostalgic games franchise try their best to undermine any other game that doesn't fit their norm all their awards are going to Nintendo who rarely create brand new ip and came milking 30 years or so cash cow for retarded gamers to eat it like no end ubisoft best conference im sorry no conference this year that actually made me excited as much no wonder why i unsubscribe these guys
The awards go to nintendo games because nintendo makes fantastic games which is why some of the best reviewed games of all times are nintendo games like breath of the wild. They also make new ips, arms was released as recently as last week, 1-2 switch was released at the launch of the switch, so already 2 new ips for the switch.. Splatoon last generation as well. Your views are unjustified, they make fantastic games as well as new ips. Their franchises have changed a lot as well, this is not some sort of annual sports games that has minimal changes, Super Mario Odyssey looks to be not only a fantastic mario game, but also a very refreshing one with the hat mechanic. Either way, you're wrong.
It also makes the whole process much more transparent and feel far less likely of being influenced by outside forces. I hope they do it for GOTY (as difficult as that would be) because it was never really clear to me who voted for The Last Guardian as several Allies seemed salty about it. I'm not implying it was fixed, I just would have liked to have seen how they got to that final choice and who was on what side.
@MinimalismGeek: When I was in elementary school, my parents bought me this sick Umbro jacket to wear to soccer games. I loved it! It was green, it was puffy, it was warm and it was mine! One day, after a soccer game, we came home and my mom said "where's your jacket?". My stomach dropped. We jumped in the car and raced back to the park but it was too late - the jacket was gone. I fought back tears as my father berated me for not being responsible not because I was scared of my dad but because I was angry at me too. How could I have neglected the one thing in this world that I loved more than life itself. I haven't really thought about that time in my life until right now. Yes because it was painful but because now I have to walk this earth while missing something as dearly as I once missed my jacket. I will miss you so, SO much. You, MinimalismGeek, are now eternally connected to my jacket. Any time I remember one, I will immediately remember the other and my melancholy will become that much deeper. Every time the seasons change and I forget to bring a jacket, the cold will remind me of you. Every time you hear the song "I Miss You" by Incubus, I hope you think of me, because I will be thinking of you. We speak of the Greats and how lucky we are to have them but today, Allies, we lose one. Let us carry each other through this trial and emerge stronger on the other side.
In regards to what I've seen other people say, Why would you want a short video just listing the winners? EZA is all about the repartee between allies and their personalities colliding, it's about their passion. We're not going to get that from a short video just announcing the winners of categories, boring. We want the Allies doing what they do best, talking about video games! I love vids like this, keep it up EZA! - TheJastrom
One of My Favorite things to do during these Debates is to formulate what i would say if i was arguing for a particular game, i love the long Debates. I think a lot of us always wanted to be in on these Debates when you were back at GT but at EZA we get to see it. All of the Long Form debate videos have been awesome, and Streaming really works well with these discussions also.
I'm kinda with Huber on the biggest surprise. Each E3 we look forward to something like Metroid 4 (new entry in a beloved series). But having a game remade from the ground up without any demand and from nowhere, just to please the fans pretty much (and sell some units of course). That's surprising.
you guys are the absolute best. you know what? cause you care about this stuff with the same enthusiasm me and my friends always did growing up, and that i still do. i moved away from those childhood friends, and these things help me kind of feel that same type of feeling again. love and respect for real.
I like the format of the guys hanging out and chatting games, it's why I love the channel, it's a format I find really relaxing to zone out to. i love your guys work and im speaking only from a place of positivity with regards to your output. I think if you look at the EZA output, a lot of the feedback seems to be' I guess an "Awards Show" has to feel like a full-stop, more than just more sentences.' This is a three-hour video. I'll tell you what would scratch every itch. Two videos. One two-hour debate video, one quickfire top 10 video. Spend your first two hours debating the 10 games you want to give the biggest E3 props to. Debate the 10, then decide as a group on a main ally to espouse the game. In the third hour, having decided on the 10 picks, give each ally a minute or two to announce why each of the 10 have been picked. Come posting to youtube time, you need a quick edit of 10 game titles, a little trailer footage for each top 10 pick, and one minute or so of the chosen Ally's speech recorded in hour three, still in the group stream format, still all the guys just sat around. It's still loose, it's still got the jolly group dynamic, but it's just a little more structured than a straight stream. It's not a Jones voiceover, that must be written then edited and placed over footage, which obviously takes much more planning . Then you release a full two-hour stream video of the top 10 debate beforehand for the purists and watch things get heated as the Allies fight for their picks, within a limited two-hour time frame! Let's say the thing that qualifies a game as a 10 pick is getting 5 votes out of 7 allies to make the cut? Imagine how fierce that would get!! high pressure, UNEASY ALLIANCES???? I know this is a little more work in that it requires editing a second video, still no small task, but it doesn't an seem unachievable format, that may please everybody in the future. i bet people would even be willing to wait a little more to make it happen
Don't agree with all of the choices (Metroid was gratifying but not all that surprising personally) but I love this format and getting to hear you guys hash it out. The often-clashing personalities and transparency of the Allies is what makes EZA great, and I often put these long videos on while playing games. Those who just want the results could find out easily afterwards. Keep it up, guys!
My biggest beef with the EZA community is how entitled they are about their control of the channel. Their content this year has been better than all of the old GT stuff. (minus Elyse) I feel like they are starting to really find their own unique lane. let em do the dang thang.
Might have something to do with them taking money from the community now... Besides is it really entitled to ask for them to change their format a bit? "Their content this year has been better than all of the old GT stuff." I really can't see it, they did a good job covering e3 and push out a lot of content but lets take some things into perspective: wait 6 months for a ~15minute mediocre game sleuth episode that basically amounted to asking people on gamefaqs some questions, poorly edited. We're probably only going to get 1 retrospective a year at this rate as well. And of course no final bosman, and huber hype was better than huber syndrome IMO. I'm not saying the content they make now is bad but saying it's better than it was.. just don't see it.
I loved all E3 coverage from the Allies this year! Hope it doesn't change(don't make it shorter :P) too much next year. L&R Ps. The Beachhouse thing sounds like fun.
Would be awesome if you could list out all games you discuss and put timeline on which video they appear and time it appear so that we can go straight to it.
Nope Brandon, i WAS there. i was one of those 15,000 stooges crowding y'all out of demos. I even met Ben next to Marvel Vs. (???). Also: great Naked Gun 2 reference, I quote that all the time
Damiani I disagree re: shadow of the colossus- saying it has "the same content as the ps2" pretty clearly implies that the content will be the same- no more, no less. If they wanted to say something that would leave the avenue open for surprise I think they would phrase it more like "it will include all the content of the ps2 version" as opposed to "have the same content".... I doubt they would go out of their way to develop new collosi w/out Ueda, and the ones that were cut aren't just like sitting on a computer somewhere fully designed and ready to be reimplemented. I think a lot of the ones that were cut had their mechanics combined with some of the collosi that made the final cut and/or were redundant from a gameplay perspective.
I call shenanigans with Mario being best of show. The way others besides the allies form lines and just watch from afar as others played this game that ONLY 20% done says alot more than another fun Mario game. Hell, having a fighting game that has its community hyped and working alongside the casual fan base is also phenomenal. I believe the allies robbed an award from a great game. Nothing but L&R just needed to state my opinion
Easy Allies I was not able to attend E3 like many others were. My opinion is based off of the descriptions/Fight for why either game should be "Best in Show". The way DragonBall was presented by Brad and Ben was awe inspiring. Basically describing a fighting game that can reattach the rift between the Hardcore fighting game community and the casual player. The beauty of the game and it basically being what we the fans have always wanted for a DBZ game, that instant gratification goes a long way in my mind. Not saying Mario won't be an all time great game because I think it will be but the greater emphasis felt to be with DBZ and it not getting a single vote is mind boggling. Nothing but L&R for you guys.
To me, crowd appreciation of a product dose not necessarily imply that the product is really supreme. The Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) was an example: www.boxofficemojo.com/yearly/chart/?view2=worldwide&yr=2014 - #1 box office worldwide in 2014. However, it is not even in the top 100 metacritic movies score in 2014: www.metacritic.com/browse/movies/score/metascore/year/filtered?year_selected=2014 Anyway, the result of democracy does not necessarily equal to truth - "even if everyone's opinion is in agreement, those opinions may all nonetheless be erroneous": en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truth_by_consensus#cite_note-Warburton-2 Therefore, to me, using crowd appreciation as an argument in persuasion will definitely fail to work on me.
Kyle, I love you. but Shadow of the Colossus is a Remake. why? as re-master is taking the same in-game assets and uprezing the engine build and some replacing of textures at 1k or 2k for the most part, updating of lighting effects/ shadow quality. All of these processes are more of a replace A with B asset and click on of X Y and Z. A Remake means start from scratch. new engine, new models, new textures, updates and re animated assets. Shadow of the colossus has all of those things. It has been re...made. The difference between the two is not whether it has new game play, its the process. Love and Respect.
That's not really the point of contention, for the sake of argument he said he doesn't mind it getting called Remake. The reason why this is not as clear-cut is because Crash just had the same treatment and is/was considered a "remaster from the ground up", which somewhat feels similar to the treatment Shadow of the Colossus will be getting. It's all semantics though. All Kyle was saying that a Remake without any additional content shouldn't be biggest surprise when you had stuff like the Metroid announcements and Beyond Good And Evil 2.
Fair, I did the classic thing of writing a comment without finish listening. It dose become more clear after. But yeah I think from a Game Dev point, not a consumer point it was worth clarifying the terms. These terms have become part of the consumer vernacular nowadays and its meaning has become muddy but as I say, from a Game Dev side its very clear, one means you get to go home at 6 and the other is making a new game essentially.
That's fine, for me the term doesn't really matter a great bunch, if I'm feeling the announcement and the footage of the supposed Remake/Reboot/Remaster, I'll check it out, depending on how my past experiences line up with said franchise (so in the case of Crash, Final Fantasy VII and SotC, buy on day one). It's just a juicy way of selling the product I think. Remaster sounds cheap and lack of effort in comparison with Remake.
My personal E3 results. *Biggest Surprise:* _Metroid Prime 4 & Samus Returns_! _Shadow of the Colossus_ would be a close 2nd for me. *Best Press Conference:* Sony. I actually think MS and Sony had pretty even press conferences but for me Sony showed off more games that I care about personally. Plus, I don't consider Nintendo Direct a press conference. Lol *Best Original IP:* _Anthem_. It was the only new IP announced that wowed me. *Best Demonstration:* _Anthem_. As I said above, only one to really wow me. *Most Damaging Leak:* _Assassin's Creed Origins_. I'm with what Huber was saying, I probably would have been more positive about it if I had just found out Egypt was the setting, it would have balanced out finding out it's just more of the same. *Best Trailer:* _Super Mario Odyssey_. I would have _God of War_ as a close second and I also loved the _Uncharted_ trailer. *Best of Show:* This is a tough one because I couldn't play anything! I've been watching E3 videos for the past two weeks though and of all the games at E3 I'm most excited for _Super Mario Odyssey_, so I guess it's Mario again for me! Lol
Man Huber you got yourself way too hyped for Assassins Creed Origins. One extra year isn't enough to completely revamp the series. I mean maybe it is but i didnt expect it from them. Honestly I'm surprised its changed as much as it has, its more then I expected them to do, this is still AC after all. The footage from e3 sold me on it to the point where I'll be playing day 1 and I haven't played since black flag. I think the new combat looks fun and can picture myself having a blast with that botw slow mo arrow shot mechanic in an AC game. I'm really looking forward to it now and it wasn't even on my radar before.
Nintendo shut down last year's E3 with Zelda:BoTW; this year they shut it down with Mario Odyssey. Maybe next year they'd shut it down with a Metroid Prime 4 demo or trailer.
auraxfire that would actually keep a good trend considering all three are single player massive games from beloved (this is an understatement even) series
To be a surprise needs to be something you were not expecting... No way Metroid can sneak up on me.. Every E3 I am expecting both a Prime 4 and a 2D for the 3DS.. I called it this E3 as I always do.. I was not surprised, only fulfilled.
E3 sold me on a Nintendo Switch... eventually. I want Splatoon 2 and Super Mario Odyssey (already got Breath of the Wild on my Wii U) but I don't care if I get those at launch. I will want both Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon's eighth gen games day one. I'll probably get a Switch when one of those two release and pick up Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, and whichever of those two come out first. Tons of shit to play all at once until the other one of those two games come out.
The eating part part is hard to swallow. The people interrupting each other is also very disruptive. The rest is very good. PS: It doesnt bother me when someone eats, but chewing and talking is very bad where I come from. I dont think I have to mention kyle talking for 5 min offscreen (° - °) But hey, aside from aaaallll that, very good.. Nintendo didn't suprise me at all, because since the Wii they had so many missteps, except with mario, but the mario formula is easy to forsee. AM2R fan remake did suprise me, because I didn't knew a metroid could play like this. Nintendo set the bar for themself extremly high with metroid prime and zelda, that even a insanely good new game of these ips simply can't suprise or impress me. I would be more suprised to see new actraiser, demons crest, probotector, battle toads, axelay, ghostnghouls or games like that. 3D isn't very exciting, and games are too complicated and massmarket "family friendly" nowadays. I don't want to be mainstream audience, and I am happy I am not. And while I am elephanting through the porcelain-store: Shovel knight is a fantastic game, but nes graphics are butt ugly. Shovel knight is a fucking ugly game. Nes graphics are so lazy. Snes graphics is minimum that artists should stride for nowadays.
Kyle lacked the intellectual capacity to distinguish the concept of "Biggest suprise" from the one of "Excitment". SOTC which is a true remake, was evidently one of the biggest surprises of E3, since it was quite unexpected.
I really don't understand how Metroid Prime 4 is the most surprising. Gratifying? Sure. But everyone knew there was a chance that they would announce a new Metroid game. That pick really seems like it relates more to the excitement for the game rather than the surprise of the announcement.
It can be subjective and still be a poor choice. The arguments put forward for why it was most surprising did not reflect surprise, they reflected satisfaction and excitement. e.g. When Brandon was arguing for Metroid Prime 4 between 47:40 and 48:20 I thought he was arguing against Metroid Prime 4, because he said they all expected that it might happen, whereas other games were out of left field.
No after Federation Force and Other M we were all very sure that the Metroid franchise (at least Prime) was dead: 13 years without a 2D Metroid, and 10 years without a proper Metroid Prime; to see Nintendo pushing so much the Metroid franchise once again with two new games, giving exactly what the fans want, it was shocking.
It's probably why the surprise is BOTH Metroid games being announced. Metroid Prime 4 by itself would not be the big surprise because you DO expect any Nintendo franchise to be resurrected when the company feels it can help them. But the surprise that it IS happening, and that not only that, a second Metroid game you had no expectations to even EXIST happens, it's a twofold sort of thing.
The Assassin's Creed leaks really pissed me off. I'm with Huber. If there were no leaks, and they came out completely with their big guns with the setting, the origins of the brotherhood, I would've lost my freaking mind. Don't get me wrong, I'm super excited to play the game, but I wanted to be surprised for the announcement
I really don't get the "hate" for the Sony Press Conference. Imho Sony had the highest quality games at their conference. I think the conference only gets hate because there were no big surprises... but that is on the people who expect those big surprises. So many people were hyped to see DMC5, TLOU2, a new game from Sucker Punch and who knows what else and when they don't have these games at their show people think it is a bad conference.
I gotta agree with assassins creed being ruined by the leaks because of the leaks they didn't have a chance to have that resident evil 7 moment where there was mixed reactions until 7 was revealed at E3 like "oh my gosh it's this series"
Biggest Surprise: MHW. MH games have been on handhelds nintendo devices for years now. No home console games in a while, specially to the west. MH finally going big with consoles, true sequel, world-wide simultaneous... that is a BIG surprise! Capcom could have done this a long time ago.. I remember wanting this on PS3 era but never happened. With the Switch out there cross gen (3DS/Switch) for MH games looked like a sure way to go. little investment, big rewards. But no, they finally went all in! Anthem.. we knew about a Bioware game on the works. SotC was pretty surprising.. but as Kile said "is a Remake the biggest surprise?" indeed not. Metroids? cmon. Nintendo has like 5 big franshises. of course sooner or latter they will make another entry into those franshises. They released Star Fox on the Wii U, the new Zelda for the Switch, they shown Mario.. releasing this year(thats a surprise!) of course Metroid would be next in line for a reveal... surprising would be if we get to know another star fox or another zelda would release before a new metroid!
Well is still a niche game, that have most of its niche because its portable, as much as a surprise it is on itself. Its not much of a big deal for most people to be honest.
I feel like I'm the only person in the world who isn't bothered by the fake chatter in gameplay demonstrations. Everyone knows it is fake, but I don't mind them showcasing what a potential conversation could be like, between what is supposed to be a group of friends, and not complete strangers. I am honestly a bit surprised that a person like Kyle or Huber, who often seem to enjoy getting into a specific type of mindset when playing games (video games or just silly podcast bits) are so dismissive of this type of more "RP" banter. And while Brandon's suggestion would definitely have been really funny, and possibly a better way of showing the demo, I just don't think it detracts as much from the game as other people think it does. But maybe that is just me.
It's the blue yeti pro I believe, it's the XLR version, It's not really that great though it's just heavily recommended by everyone who then seems to recommend it to everyone else. If you want a microphone that doesn't pick up much background noise than I would recommend getting a Rode podcaster (get the XLR version if you have the setup for it) the Rode PSA1 boom-arm is also extremely good for the price and I recommend you get both. Shock mount isn't necessary.
trignite they're using it in Omni-directional mode, so it picks up everyone's voice in the room, they clearly don't have space for everyone to sit down with their own microphone. That's why it picks up so much background noise, the blue yeti is a very good microphone
@Gewdvibes Where did I imply that they were using it in cardoid mode? Do you really think that this one guy on youtube who wants to buy a mic needs something that can pick up a whole room (and all of it's background noise)? If you did research on microphones you will start to realize that if you want to pick up a whole room your better off buying multiple cardoid microphones at a lower cost instead. Using one mic to pick up a whole room of people is almost never going to sound good unless you have everyone right up against the mic and almost zero background noise. The blue yeti is over-priced for what it is, a mediocre cardoid mic (still picks up background noise) or fairly useless omni-directional mic. And the price for the XLR version is just insane. There are plenty of other cardoid USB mics with better audio quality that pick up less background noise, at a lower price. When it comes to microphones don't underestimate the importance of a good stand or boom-arm either. Having good mic placement is KEY to good quality audio, the yeti stand is pretty trash and you will have to keep moving it around and probably end up leaning over it all the time. stands also just get in the way and really annoy me, I currently have my boom-arm behind my monitor and can easily bring the mic to my mouth no matter if i'm sitting down or standing up. Due to it being a good cardoid mic that barely picks up any background noise I can have my neighbors complain that my music is too loud (speakers less than a meter from my microphone) and have people in chat that can only just hear it.
Look, I love EZA. I'm a backer from the start. I just have to say that I hate the gear towards more and more streams instead of well edited pre recorded videos/shows. This could have been a great show, but it feels like a "lazy" live stream. Not saying that the Allies are lazy (they definitely aren't!), according to one of their patreon posts, the fans wanted this to be a stream (I know I didn't). EDIT: to clarify, I have no problem with them showing us the discussion. I like it. I also have no problem with the length of the video. But I don't enjoy the presentation. This streaming format is what every other UA-camr does. I would prefer to see edited videos with footage of the nominated games and the winner, with some off screen voice overs and with all of them having their own mic. I do understand however, that it is not always possible because of time and money reasons.
RedVIII I think during the hectic time that is E3 it's more time effective for them to do it this way, though I do prefer the production values of shorter content.
Blood: I can't speak to production/logistics, but from the "people wanted us to show the debates" perspective, I think this particular video is a slightly different situation. We already have ~20 or so hours of streams to wade through from this E3 and this stream feels redundant because you already talked about most things really in-depth. As someone who rarely follows your streams, this very much feels like "more streams". I understand your perspective completely. In the GT days, I was 100% in the camp of people who just wanted more and longer videos of you just talking. Now that we got that in spades, I see that my wishes were misguided.
Easy Allies I totally get it Blood, and I don't want to give the impression that I did not enjoy this video. It's definitely better than no awards. I just wanted to say that I personally would have preferred a pre-recorded video.
I have to agree. I used to be able to watch Easy Allies podcasts in entirety. But not anymore, there's too much filler and constant derails into 40 minutes of Kingdom Hearts talks or something. It's just too much to waste 2,5 hours on a podcast.
They are still making enough pre-recorded videos, and the newly reached tiers even promised more produced shows. But I would say because E3 is a constant live event for a week, you can't really edit and produce impressions fast enough, so you keep seeing all these long videos based on those live streams and it's all giving the impression that they're leaning towards live stream only videos on purpose. Like things like Trailer Jones, and the three podcasts obviously won't be live streamed on a regular basis. If the fans wanted a live stream for this or for the hall of greats? So be it, but don't assume this means they prefer to not do more pre-recorded stuff. They have a separate channel for their livestreams for a reason.
i felt that this years E3 had no real winner, the big 3 just turned around did their own thing which i thought was good. no jabs at the competition, just showcasing what they have.
I wish I liked Nintendo as much as you guys. I might enjoy these debates more too. Also, here's a note of constructive criticism: Please... for the love of everything good and just in the world... please do NOT chew directly into a mic or talk with your mouths full.
It's really not all that difficult. Nintendo has an extremely diverse catalog of games ranging from Platformers to RPGs. I'm sure you're bound to find something that interests you or stimulates your mind. I agree with the comment you made regarding the on camera ingestion of food or other edible items. The chewing noises can become rather grating.
I was referring to the ENTIRE catalog of Nintendo games throughout the years. Golden Eye practically invented the multiplayer first person shooter that so many people adore and you're fooling yourself if you don't consider the Prime series at least an offshoot of the genre. In terms of simulation games, FIFA is coming to the switch and their have been multitudinous racing titles featured on Nintendo consoles over the years. As far as "story focused single player games" are concerned, I already mentioned their proclivity for constructing and publishing RPGs.
Casey Duong I never stated that it was. I said it was an offshoot of the first person shooter genre and in many cases more entertaining. But I suppose the entertainment value is a matter of opinion. All the other things I stated still stand as well.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is awesome. ...Sakurai should do his magic one more time and bring Goku to Smash, so we can finally go Goku X Megaman X Cloud X Mario
Love that you're now streaming these debates, boys.
Out of all the videogame youtubers.... these guys will always be my favorite!
I love these types of videos. Seeing you guys hash it out in real time is awesome, same with Hall of the Greats. Keep it up Allies! L&R

All of the Long Form debate videos have been awesome, and Streaming really works well with these discussions also.
Damiani: Let's talk about Ni No Kuni 2
Blood: Again, he was here when we made the list
Classic!
It's not classic that they made the list for a awards show 30minutes beforehand...
Still, everybody was there. lol
Kyle's strained laughter when Damiani put up Dead Yamcha is life-giving.

I think if you look at the EZA output, a lot of the feedback seems to be' I guess an "Awards Show" has to feel like a full-stop, more than just more sentences.'
This is a three-hour video.
I don't care about the format of videos. I just love watching you guys talk about video games.
Kyle: Friends from High School. Jon doesn't have a beard. Dan does. Cheers!
Seeing anyone outside of Finland being addictive to Sips is the one thing I have wanted for so long.
"Wait, does Mime Jr. turn into Mr. Mime?"
"Yeah."
"Is there a Mrs. Mime?"
"There's no Mrs. Mime."
"..."
"That's weird."
Best part of the entire video by far: "... ssSSSTRRRrrrraaaight FOooOOoward!!!??!?!?"
I love these intense Daganronpa style debates.
Gotta be honest here... The realistic combat in Kingdom Come Deliverance SOUNDS AWESOME
Wow, talk about unique. That tea set is gorgeous and beautiful. EZA fans really went globally diverse right there. Awesome!
I love seeing the discussion and process. Always do this for rewards. If people want a shorter one fine but I want the discussion stream too.
I'm not saying the content they make now is bad but saying it's better than it was.. just don't see it.
if you guys want old GT watch old GT. times change. i prefer the EZA of the last 6 months personally and see them transitioning to new formats.
I will always rock with you guys. Great work EZA.
kyle doing the cool poses with the jacket in the end :P
How do you guys not know what skips are??? They're the best crisps ever!!!
Stream videos could be on Archives on Easy Allies Plays, and edited stream show in Easy Allies main channel
Thanks for another amazing E3 guys! :D
Biggest surprise had to be Beyond Good and Evil 2, there was hope but no way did anyone expect it to show up especially in the way it did.
ThreeHeadedFilms
I wholeheartedly agree.
I loved all E3 coverage from the Allies this year! Hope it doesn't change(don't make it shorter :P) too much next year.
L&R
Ps. The Beachhouse thing sounds like fun.
Great video. Nevermind the format
I don't like the idea of ranking gifts because they are awesome that people do that. Those jackets though... fantastic
How have you guys not talked about Vampyr?!?! I'm sooooo hyped!!! Hubert how are you not hyped?! It looks so good!!
Monster Hunter World looks nuts. Good pick.
Would be awesome if you could list out all games you discuss and put timeline on which video they appear and time it appear so that we can go straight to it.
Nope Brandon, i WAS there. i was one of those 15,000 stooges crowding y'all out of demos. I even met Ben next to Marvel Vs. (???).
Also: great Naked Gun 2 reference, I quote that all the time
I'm just saying, I wouldn't eat baked goods. Even things that are wrapped are iffy, but homemade things are extremely iffy.
thanks Blood ;D
You guys are the very best crew
keep going
I really love that debate about monster hunter and spider. kinda wish you guys would do more video games fight a la "screen junkies movie fights"
Huber for God of War. The man's got TASTE!
best trailer of E3 2017, WITHOUT QUESTION... was God of War.
The Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) was an example:
www.boxofficemojo.com/yearly/chart/?view2=worldwide&yr=2014 - #1 box office worldwide in 2014.
However, it is not even in the top 100 metacritic movies score in 2014:
www.metacritic.com/browse/movies/score/metascore/year/filtered?year_selected=2014
Anyway, the result of democracy does not necessarily equal to truth - "even if everyone's opinion is in agreement, those opinions may all nonetheless be erroneous":
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truth_by_consensus#cite_note-Warburton-2
Therefore, to me, using crowd appreciation as an argument in persuasion will definitely fail to work on me.
I actually agree with every winner and this format is fine. 👍
I wish I could try all those snacks.
e3 was a joy, very excited for the games that'll be out soon.
2:01:39 that hurts... rubbed salt in the wound :(
Kyle, I love you. but Shadow of the Colossus is a Remake. why? as re-master is taking the same in-game assets and uprezing the engine build and some replacing of textures at 1k or 2k for the most part, updating of lighting effects/ shadow quality.
Fin yeah, he's really into labels and specifics, must be rough when it bugs him like that
yup kyle off on this one
May Chim's Blessings be upon you
My personal E3 results.
Lol
*Best Original IP:* _Anthem_.
Lol
Which part of my limbs do I have to sacrifice to get a new Final Bosman show?
Nate River It's not happening; he has said in many places that doesn't feel inspired by that idea right now. But he is making a new show - Box Peek.
Who didn't expect Project Dylan at E3 besides Bosman?
Kyle's impersonations always make me laugh like a lunatic
Please put this sort of thing on the Patron audio RSS.
This is their 666th video.
I do agree with your final point on the leak convo tho. I think it still has some people, people like me excited tho.
So a title card announcement and a remaster is the biggest surprise of E3? Any of the other choices would've been better than that.
Did they do impressions for Evil within 2? Because Huber had a talk with the director at e3
To be a surprise needs to be something you were not expecting... No way Metroid can sneak up on me.. Every E3 I am expecting both a Prime 4 and a 2D for the 3DS.. I called it this E3 as I always do.. I was not surprised, only fulfilled.
christmas came early damm. nice presents !
Best in the biz.
Tons of shit to play all at once until the other one of those two games come out.
the artful escape
Just noticed how much i missed Jones' couch...
Best in the Bizzzz!
Love & respect
where was Devolver Digital in the Best Conferences?
Kyle lacked the intellectual capacity to distinguish the concept of "Biggest suprise" from the one of "Excitment". SOTC which is a true remake, was evidently one of the biggest surprises of E3, since it was quite unexpected.
Damn, you guys never had skips or Jaffa cakes before? their huge in the UK.
I really don't understand how Metroid Prime 4 is the most surprising. Gratifying? Sure. But everyone knew there was a chance that they would announce a new Metroid game. That pick really seems like it relates more to the excitement for the game rather than the surprise of the announcement.
Wakkarr Well it's subjective. Soo..
Wakkarr How would you define 'suprise'?
No after Federation Force and Other M we were all very sure that the Metroid franchise (at least Prime) was dead:
13 years without a 2D Metroid, and 10 years without a proper Metroid Prime; to see Nintendo pushing so much the Metroid franchise once again with two new games, giving exactly what the fans want, it was shocking.
1:16:00 can somebody explain what exactly changes kyles vote to spiderman? :D
Awesome gifts!
Monster Hunter Worlds over Spider-Man for best demonstration?! Very contentious indeed.
lol the kawaii central jackets... the least threatening biker gang ever... I love it!!!
Wait, Anthem and Metro count as playable? Was there more than those two short videos?
Oh, ok, thanks Blood :)
@EasyAllies
What microphone are you guys using? at first i thought it was the Blue Yeti but the knobs don't look like it belongs to it.
"A way out" is not among the biggest surprise!? Oh no!
YAyyyyyyyyyy this episode is finally out!! I hope they pick dbz to win something!
Nice !
Why does Kyle look like a combination of the kid in what about bob and david tennant?
when was this streamed?
Easy Allies Thanks!
What kind of gloves are those?
I would watch it... if it wasn't three hours long gaddamn
i felt that this years E3 had no real winner, the big 3 just turned around did their own thing which i thought was good. no jabs at the competition, just showcasing what they have.
I'm sure it wasn't meant that way, but "it's your job" is never a reason to kill someone in real life, especially as a police officer
Casey Duong
I never stated that it was. I said it was an offshoot of the first person shooter genre and in many cases more entertaining. But I suppose the entertainment value is a matter of opinion. All the other things I stated still stand as well.
The E3 Kings right here.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is awesome.
...Sakurai should do his magic one more time and bring Goku to Smash, so we can finally go Goku X Megaman X Cloud X Mario
A Way Out is EA, not Ubisoft
New category: Most Snubbed Game of the EZA E3 Awards
Winner - Dragon Ball FighterZ
Mario+Rabbids should've won the best demonstration though... Or was that one actually playable?
Eric Gipson it was playable
I'm goin in, hoping and praying that The Last Night is on here somewhere.
Next year Sony should just release titles for there unannounced games, apparently that is good enough to win :/
