Thanks so much for this tutorial! Super easy to follow and fun to make =) do you have a suggestion for which type of glue to use once you cut off the excess rope from the knots hitching it to the larger hoop? Thanks!!
Hi Lauren, thank you very much 🥰 I use 3 second super glue and it is very strong.
Amazing🥰👏👏
Thank you ❤
Show 👏
💖❤😊
Hi! Love this tutorial, thank you so much! Can I continue creating a bigger web if I have a larger hoop? (65cm)
Yes sure😊 Increase the rounds of making web and remember to use longer cord.
@@TheCraftCat Thank you so much! So excited to make it
Good size
I really like thank you

Muy bello
❤❤❤
beautiful dreamcatcher, I do this by making bracelets, I learned from doing it with rubber bands, but kinda in a different manner but the steps are the same...
Thank you 😊 sounds creative to convert into rubber bands bracelet ~
Beautiful
Thank you ❤
❤️ Beautiful! ❤️
I only have a 2.5mm cord and a 30cm circle.
I was going to ask if i could do it or what do I have to change?
Thank you very much in advance for your reply.
Thank you ❤ Here is our suggestion. You can try to hitch 20pcs of cord on the ring for first step , and this will make 10 sets of square knots. Then continue...
Hermoso trabajo lo voy hacer 👋👋🥰🥰
Beautiful ! 3cms or 4cms please ?
Hi, can you tell me how long should the ropes be if I don’t want the excess ropes to be that long? I would like to trim the ropes off at the point where the middle tussle ends. So the ropes don’t need to be 2.5m long right? Can you please tell me how long should the ropes be?
Hi, estimated to reduce about 50cm 😊 So 2 meters will be safe.
oi boa tarde meu nome é diana ferreira a foto é do meu sobrinho ja tenho pedido desse painel é lindo demais adorei
Você é muito bem-vindo 😊 Muito obrigado por compartilhar ❤
definitely beautiful, but I have a query if I want to make it in a larger measure for example with 27 inches in diameter how much would the tail measure be? I look forward to your kind response. Thank you.
Thank you 😊 27 inches is double the size of this , perhaps you will need double amount and measurement ?
I’m doing this right now, I’ve gone knot blind trying to reverse the one to make the hoops....I’ll persevere and keep going back and back and yep so far 5 times. What is it I need?. New glasses or a new brain.?? It’s not a hard knot it’s muddled me up....lol...it’s lovely so far..thank you xx
Hi Stephanie, do you mean the part which the web was hitch onto hoop ? I guess it is normal as this part get confuse easily 😆 Search double half hitch knots, picture might help you to understand😊
@@TheCraftCat I’m at the part where it’s reversed 10 times. I’ll look for that thank you kindly, help is always appreciated.
@@TheCraftCat Thank you so much for that tip. Finally cracked it and now I’m away up up and away. My friend is going to be very happy with it. She’s never had one from what I understand. I’ll being doing it for myself too but perhaps a different colour, maybe mocha. Very happy bunny. xx
Wow, great to hear that ! 😍 You are most welcome 😊 It's my pleasure to help. Definitely, your friend will love this precious handmade gift ❤
@@TheCraftCat I’m Stephanie. I’ve already subscribed but do you have any slightly smaller ones. I’d like to make a couple more for my step- grandchildren. I’d be obliged if any ideas pop up. Kind regards Stephanie
hey, love your work! what type of cord do you use?
Thank you 😊 we use 3mm cotton macrame cord
👏👏👏👏👍
❤❤❤
Wowwwwe
❤❤❤
hermosismo.
Gracias ❤
beautiful, thank you - how wide the cord though?
This is 3mm cord 😊
Lovely! What size cord do you use? Thanks for the tutorial.
Thank you ❤ You are welcome 😊 It's 3mm cord.
Hello! This would be my firat time trying macrame. Do you have an approximate of how long it takes to complete this project?
Hi Valeria, approx 3 days , if you are focus 😊
Bonjour, votre Dreams catcher est magnifique et j'aimerai le réaliser. J'ai bien compris pour les cercles et les longueurs de corde, en revanche je ne vois nulle part l'épaisseur de la corde... 3mm peut-être ? Pouvez vous me renseigner ?
Merci d'avance.
Et bravo pour cette réalisation 👏🙂
Hi! I have 30.5 cm hoop and 7.6 cm hoop can i still do this design? My cord is 3mm32 ply? Please could you recommend suggestions!
Hi Brooklynn, 3mm is the same size as what we use. You may try with double amount of cords to start as 7.6cm is almost double of 4cm hoop. 😊 Maintain length, only add the number of cord to fully hitch your 7.6cm hoop
👍👌👏
❤❤❤
Wow looks fantastic ! Am i reading correctly, 16 x 59 inches, in cm this is about 150cm for each string right? that seems a lot?
Beautiful work. Try putting ropes either side of your dream catcher. Tie to sides of your clothes horse. So it doesn't move as much. I have bad eyesight and the movement was making me really dizzy.
Thank you very much for your feedback, it's great for improvement.
I am super confused with the waves (starting around 30 minutes). Does anyone have a drawing (or something else) where I can see with string goes under/above the other one?
Hi Antonia, to make the wave , you will need to goes under the other one. It is actually ' Double Half Hitch Knot ', you can search the drawing through google.
Omggggg I’m waiting for my macrame Cord to get here I ran out and I’m going through major withdrawals 😭😭😭
Hopefully you will get your cord soon 😊 Please tag us through instagram if you ever make one ! hashtag #TheCraftCatOnline to get featured and stand a chance for lucky draw ❤
This dream catcher is beautiful, do you also have a video for the other dreamcatcher that you're working beside, the one that's on your left side, but from the video on it's on the right side of you, if you do, what's the title of the video....it's absolutely beautiful. Thank you very much for the videos
Hi Samantha , thank you 😊 Yes , we do have the tutorial.
For macrame tutorial, the video title is How to Make Macrame Boho Dreamcatcher : ua-cam.com/video/oQ61Weqip1U/v-deo.html
For the crochet doily tutorial , the title is How To Make a Flower Doily :

@@TheCraftCat thank you so much, they're beautiful
Lovely 😍 how would you adapt it to a 20cm hoop (what small hoop diameter, would you still be using 3mm rope)? Thank you!
Thank you ❤ You can use 3mm for 20cm hoop but might need to reduce the number of cord.
Can you make this out of cotton yarn?
Yes, this is actually cotton macrame cord. Cotton yarn maybe slightly less solid
I'm hoping to make this lovely dream catcher but what diameter rope do you use.
Thanks. Sheila
Hi Sheila, we use 3mm cord for this tutorial. 😊
Hate to ask a stupid question but what is the name of the wavy knot. I can't seem to get it and want to look it up to see if I can see a step by step diagram or something. Thanks
The wave made of diagonal clove hitch knot, it just look wavy after pushing it, still it is diagonal clove hitch knot . 😊
Ty.
Is the small ring 4cms inner measurement or outer measurement.? Thanks
It is the outer diameter, the whole ring size is 4cm.
I guess there is a mistake in 36.07. Although you take the 12th rope, it says 13th in the box. By the way, thanks for this lovely tutorial
Hi , the 13th counting from the right. Which mean suppose the top right counting as the 1st , not the middle string as no.1
You are most welcome 😊 Thank you ❤❤❤
Hello, I have a question what kind of rope do you use: braided rope, twisted rope or triple twisted cord ?
عالی.مرحبا
Thank you 😊
Is this cotton macrame? How many mm is it?
Yes, it's 3mm thickness.
hii i have 5 cm hoop instead of 4cm. Is it ok to use ? And please suggest me if i have to use 5 cm then what should i use 30 cm or 35 cm hoop?
No worries, you can use 5cm & 30cm hoop 😊
@@TheCraftCat so how many cords will i need in the smaller ring?
We could'nt determine as it will vary depend on size of cord and how much to fully hitch your 5cm ring. You can try with 20 pcs, get total of 10 sets square knot in the first round. Or 18pcs will get a total 9 sets of square knots.
@@TheCraftCat thank you
Hello, what kind of glue do you use to fix the knots ? Thank you !
You can use all purpose glue or super glue. 😊
איזה קוטר חישוק (החיצוני , הגדול) עלי לקחת לפרויקט זה ?
Hi, the large hoop is 30cm diameter
In 49.40 it looks live you were using some gel or wax to rub the ends?
Hi,it just rubbing without apply anything. 😊
Disculpame. Gracias.
what kind of glue should i use?
We are using super glue 😊
I only have a 2mm cord and a 15 cm circle.
I was going to ask if i could do it or what do I have to change? help me please, thank you
You can maintain the number of cord for web part but will need to adjust the distance of web as 30cm is much much bigger than 15cm hoop. Which mean your web has to be small enough to fit in. For bottom, you can reduce cord. We cant tell exactly what number, just add cords according around the hoop.
The Craft Cat OKAYYY THANK U SM🥰
I must be dense. I'm not a beginner, but I can't get the three cords on the second step to come out on the right side to complete the "other" side. Is there any way someone could help me get it right?
Super b 👀👈👌👌👌👌👌🙏🙏👼
Thank you so much
Hi im from argentina. How long in cm (metros) are 16 inches? Thanks
Hi Sandra, 16 inches = 0.46 meter / 40.6 cm
what size cord
It is 3mm cord
What thickness in cord do you use please?
Hi Terri, it's 3mm cord
@@TheCraftCat thank you so much
What will be the total length after its ready?
From the hoop to bottom is 100cm ++
May I ask what size rope you used?
It is 3mm Macrame cord
Heel mooi . Hoe groot is de ring ?
Bedankt. De kleine ring is 4 cm en de grote ring is 30 cm, de ondertitels van de video hebben alle informatie.
how if i have 25 cm circle with 2 mm cord? is it okay?
Hi Allya, it should be fine, you can always add on cord based on the situation.
Is 4mm cord okay to use??
Yes sure, you may need to reduce the number of cord for 1st round , try 12 cords for 4mm.
Okay :) the stores around me only have 4mm and it comes in 75ft. May I ask how many feet each set of rope is? I’m gonna go buy some
You will need a total of 125 meters / 410 ft of macrame cord for this project. For other details you might need to check the information in this video and convert it to ft as there are different part using different length
Hi i have question. 59 inches ropes... how long i need ropes in cm ? Sorry for my English.
Tkank You so much
Hi Karolina, 59 inches is about 150cm 😊
@@TheCraftCat thank You 🥰 I do this today :) Its beautifull 💙
You are welcome 🥰 Thank you so much. Welcome to hashtag #TheCraftCatOnline through instagram which you can share your work, get featured on social media and stand a chance for insta hashtag lucky draw from us 😊
What size is the rope? 4mm? 5mm? What...?
This is 3mm rope
What can of rope are this?
This is 3mm macrame cord 😊
Hi, can I ask you, the size of 4cm hoop is external or internal? Thank you very much for answer. :)
Hi, it is the external size , which mean the whole hoop diameter 😊
29:55
.
bonjour merci de mettre longueur fi et le nombre merci
C'est vraiment gentil de ta part. Vous êtes les bienvenus.
pouvez vs indique le nombre de fil et la longueur
Qual a espessura das cordas?
fio de macramê de 3 mm
31 minutes in and am confused, can not see the placement of rope etc and which way to go, sad because I have got to this point and now lost x
Hi ~ to make the wave , you will need to goes under the other one. It is actually ' Double Half Hitch Knot ' in wave form.
Try scene 46:13 , the view you will be able to see where it goes
I'm confused... At the beginning it says you'll need 125m of cord, then to cut 16 pieces of 59 inches, which is 149m of cord.
Should it be 16 pieces of 59cm lengths?
How much cord is needed overall, please?
Hi Tegan, total need 125 meters +- .
59 inches = 149 centimeter , which is about 1.5m. Cut 1.5 meter x 16pcs for step 1.
@@TheCraftCat OMG, i'm such an idiot!!
That makes total sense... when i converted it, i just saw 149cm, and didn't realise it was CM and not M!!
That will teach me for trying to do maths while exhausted.... I'm ashamed to say that metric is what I use on a daily basis, too! Hahaha.
Thank you!
Love this but I’ve really struggled with the diamond it’s speeded up and too quick to catch. I’ve watched your other videos where a simple patterns are slowed down too much! Quite disappointed really.
Thank you very much. We only do some speed up for repeating part as the whole video is too long. And the simple pattern that slow down without speed up, should be the first tutorial that we made specially for beginner.
13:20 to 16:40 without speed up showing the technique of make hitch knots, and after that with the same technique making diomand shape macrame.
They never say the size of the cord so none of these instructions are any good
It is 3mm 4ply cord.
