This is absolutely beautiful. I have never done macrame before, so this will be my first project. I have a 25cm hoop, do I just add 3cm on to each piece or am I best doing say 6cm, and then trim at the end if thats possible to do?
If the size of the wood ring increases, all the knots have to be made longer because of the ratio. Cut a generous 40cm longer and make all the knots at the bottom 3cm longer. Thanks for watching.❤️

@@rutilansmacrame thank you so much for the quick reply! Just wondering, the only hoop I have is 35.5 cm (floral hoop I was going to use for wedding decor that didn't get used). If I want to use it, would I just add on 15 cm to the length of rope?
Because of the proportions you'll have to make the overall length longer than I did. I can't tell you the length of the rope because I've never made it in that size. sorry😢
