As a new member, today is your first session with your literature liaison, who will review your reading preferences and make preparations with you to personalize your reading space. Sit back and relax in her study as she pours you a drink, clicks through your online membership profile, chats with you, presents you with your complimentary reading accompaniments, and talks you through your first round of book selections based on your literary tastes and interests.
Triggers include soft-spoken, tapping, typing, keyboard, mouse, book, pen, paper, liquid, glass, and fabric sounds.

I went to the library in my new town for the first time and to my disappointment the person working wasn’t willing to spend over 50 minutes making sure I knew everything they had to offer. There was nary a whisper or even soft speaking. Jokes aside, you earned a subscriber within minutes of my first video of yours! Keep up the good work.

I love how the person youre talking to actually has answers. I find i get bored quicker when its vague. But i found myself curious as to the decisions the character was going to make in terms of their library experience

i dont even know how this would work, but i need this to be a series. or i can just keep this one on repeat. it's perfect. 🥲 (maybe introducing new programs like a seed library, getting feedback on these recs to refine our book preferences for next time, or doing the intake for people with different tastes?) but hyper-personalization that's super specific/detailed with thorough explanations is my favorite trigger and this is literally the best video ive watched for that. and im obsessed with libraries, LOVED your recs, and you're nailing the soft spoken thing. can't wait for your next video!! 🥰

if anyone is watching and wishing this was real, the Denver Public Library has a personalized book recommendation request form on their website! you don’t have to be a resident to submit a request and the recs are very thoughtful and individualized. not as great as visiting this library would be, but the form does exist haha
